Friendly, helpful service. Probably a flash place in the 70s, now very tired and hard to keep clean. But linen and bathroom were clean. Concrete floors in halls made for loud echoing noise, otherwise it was pretty quiet for the location. We chose it because it was cheap and the quality reflected that. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

I guess we got what we paid for.. the room was not very nice.. holes in the walls.. and the toilet kept us awake most of the night as it was running all night. Went to make a coffee in the morning no spoons! How ever staff were very friendly and helpful.

I arrived at 6pm and there was a large group of footballers gathered sitting in the lobby which made me feel uneasy being an older female travelling on my own. I was given a room right beside the entrance to all the motel rooms so I heard people talking, constantly walking past my room after they had been in the restaurant or bar or just coming home from somewhere else. My Aircon did not heat up at all just blew out cold air so I froze all night. The pillows were of very poor quality and some of the pillowcases used, were so old they appeared yellow stained. I assumed the motel had been well-maintained as it said it had a restaurant and bar in the write ups on the website. The entrance and exit doors to the motel rooms were kept wide open by a chair pushed against them which added to the draft coming into my room making it even colder. I didn’t leave the room the whole night just from a safety point of view for myself.

Due to a flight delay which was not caused by the hotel our stay was very much shorter than planned, but the time we spent there was fine. Its a simple does what it says on the tin sort of place , would use again if we were in Auckland for a convenient place to stop coming off a flight.

There were people fighting, banging on my room door, drinking outside my room and yelling. I felt unsafe, the phone in my room didn't work and I nearly rang the police. I had no sleep and I will never stay there again. Nothing was done by tge staff to stop the behaviour and you shpuldn't be running a hotel.
