This hotel really feels like home. It is perfectly located in the old part of Istanbul. Staff is nice and helpful. I'd come back for sure.

Breakfast in included for free in the plan. The staff is very nice and even allowed Mr to cork in early for free. It is not your Sheraton nor your Hyatt but has a nice cozy feeling to it making it a good choice if traveling in a small group.

Very good location. Nice staff. Near the tram and main attractions. Great view from the breakfast room on the top floor.

Excellent hotel, a walking distance from main tourists attractions.

Great location near the Hippodrome and lots of restaurants. Terrace at top of hotel has great view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus

I like the place very clean and nice location. Staff could be too pushy trying to arrange for you to buy stuff.

Comfortable hotel with very friendly staff and an amazing breakfast.

Staff is very friendly and provided us a lot of information, even history. We had a good time.

Small nice hotel, centrally location, very nice buffet breakfast, nice staff. Good quality.

The Staff was really helpful and so was the breakfast. The location was also very centrally located and overall this was a very good hotel

the breakfast was quite nice although to get back onto the main area there is a fairly large hill to walk up.

Very good location with great staff. Rooms are sort of old though.

It was a nice family oriented hotel. Very pleasant and walking distance to most tourist areas. The room was clean and simple. The noise from the street was loud on the first floor at night. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and safe place to lay your head and keep your stuff, this is the place. However, if you are looking for a place with extra amenities where you can hang out and lounge at the hotel or sleep the day away, I would strongly suggest this is not the hotel for you. The room was very basic but functional.

This is a very good small hotel mainly due to its great location -- walking distance to almost all attractions in the old city (Sultanahmet) and lots of restaurants. The breakfast is excellent and the terrace where it's served is very nice with an amazing view. The staff was great: always friendly and helpful. The rooms are good but not special -- maybe a little cramped. The hotel street is small but busy so it may get a little noisy in particular high traffic times. On the other hand though, the same street hosts a traditional “farmer’s market” from time to time which was really nice to witness. We were very satisfied with the hotel and loved Istanbul. Would definitely recommend it.

We were absolutely blown away by the kindness, hospitality, and thoughtfulness of the staff at Erguvan. They all speak very workable English, and are very eager to help. The view from the roof of the city, sea, and especially the Blue Mosque is gorgeous. For history buffs, one thing that the other reviews fail to mention is that across the street from the entrance are remains of the old Hippodrome.

great location.......................... so so room

The staff here was fantastic and very accommodating. Also, great location - about a 2 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. On a quiet side street so traffic noise was not an issue. Great view of the city in the breakfast room.

Fair but surely not at four star quality; however, it is still stay-able..

Short walk to the Blue Mosque....a great view of which can be seen from the roof terrace of the hotel...the hotel borders a portion of the original Hippodrome foundation, dating back to the first century AD! Nice restaruarants and shops located nearby, but a bit of a longer walk takes you to the Grand Bazaar. A taxi stand nearly next door affords one of inexpensive trips to other sites farther afield. Recommend this hotel higlyly

For a four-star hotel as Erguvan was advertised on your website, I had a small room with an extremely small bathroom with a tiny shower in it. Out of the 5 nights I spent here, I had no hot running water on two nights. No special amenities that you would expect from a four star hotel except the magnificent view from the breakfast area on the top floor. So don't expect anything extraordinary and you'll be fine. I won't stay here again.
