We were really pleased during our stay: -Breakfast buffet have delicious variety -Istanbul, Bosphorus, and sea view from room window are amazing! -Bed was more than comfortable -Very nice bathrooms I got honeymoon welcome drinks and deserts and room arrangement for free, It was not requested initially, however, they were happily willing to arrange it for free once I asked. One thing would make a experience better, having the breakfast at top floor.

I stayed here during a business a trip. My room was on the higher floors and had an amazing view, the bed was very comfortable and the service was good. The hotel has a roof bar that offers amazing drinks. I had an amazing stay as business was the purpose of my trip, but if you want to be walking distance from cafes and restaurants then this is probably not the right hotel for you.

Renaissance Istanbul is a good hotel with all the amenties of a 5 star hotel. Staff is polite and throughout they were helpful. We had a junior suite which was of a decent size. The best views are from 16th floor and there is Club Lounge too in that floor which serves hot and cold snacks. Excellent views of the Bosphorus Bridge from the Club Lounge

Standard building, nice view ( if you get a bosphoro view), but expensive rate, location a little far from the old city, poor service in the hotel, complicate to get there by bus, breakfast very standard. my overall view is, do not pay more than you get. and this is one typical case.

I have been here for work for two nights and everything was perfect. From the check in to the check out, upgrade as there were no more rooms available, the spa downstairs (although jacuzzi temperature could be warmer) and the restaurant with view upstairs.

We were 4 couples that stayed at the hotel during the dates 15-19/10/2017 and we recommend this hotel with assurance! The rooms are spacey and well designed. The breakfast was very good as well. The service we received from the workers at the reception and the restaurant: Sabit, Ugur and Fikri Yilmaz was very welcoming, generous and with a lot of patience fulfilling our requests. While staying at this hotel, we truly felt that what we wanted were met in all aspects – what we haven't received in other hotels while staying abroad. truly recommended !

Me and my wife we stay for one night on 28 October 2017. The personnel in the reception was rude misguide us regarding the payment conditions ,and at the end she insulted us,furthermore the manager in charge was a bigger disappointment as he was listening and not being able to offer solution. Don’t try to go in this hotel is a waste of money

I had a pleasant stay at the Renaissance hotel. The staff was helpful on several occasions . Room was comfortable , except no luggage stand ( so spare bed had to be used ) Laundry service was good. And room maintained promptly. The most annoying part of stay was continuous wifi problems . Very sporadic and weak . The spa was nice. Massage was excellent with their very experienced male masseur. The female masseur was just the opposite . Very inexperienced , or the very least only knew some basic traditional Thai massage . A visit to their rooftop bar/restaurant is mandatory. The food can be excellent but typically needs management involvement to correct problems . And good security here. Overall I plan to visit again and will stay here if possible .

Stayed here for 2 nights. Easy check in. The rooms were very clean and the bedding were excellent. Breakfast was excellent . Very kind and helpful staff. Good location. Will stay here again. Trip was in Sept/October 2017. Security checking was good.

The facilities and staff at this hotel leave nothing to be desired. The location is in a decent neighborhood. The reception was professional and efficient. The room was spotless and in excellent repair. The security is standard (metal-detector for luggage and an active key-card to use the elevator) for top-end hotels in Istanbul. The breakfast bar was large and very complete--with choices for breakfast that were both European and Turkish. Servers were attentive and the maitre de was sensitive to international tastes and recommended dishes that were new to us. The bars: there is a roof top bar with a great view but too much noise for those of us of a certain age. The lobby bar was quiet and comfortable--just right said Goldilocks. Be aware that in this predominantly Muslim country alcoholic beverages are heavily taxed and abnormally expensive--"sin tax." We were on a fairly busy schedule and did not have time to use the pool and spa. Finally, the neighborhood was pleasant and we did not feel uneasy walking on the avenue that the hotel faced. BTW: the price for the standard rooms is very reasonable. We even spent one night in a corner sweet, very high above the city--it was a suite deal. The only negative was that the internet service was spotty, which turned out to be the case throughout Turkey.
