The hotel is clean and the staffs are friendly. Breakfast is plentiful

Love it. It was nice for the price and i will return. Amazing breakfast.

This was such a nice place to stay- not at all the typical big chain hotel experience. Clearly a family business where all care about the performance. Only complaint would be that the walls are a bit thin, so the person next door who kept hitting snooze on their alarm woke us up multiple times because he wouldn't get up and turn the darn thing off. And, be aware that pretty much anywhere in the center of the city, you will be awoken by morning call to prayers.

exactly what it says in other reviews as well as in TA. room we got is quite small but comfy. good hotel but not much to talk about it except the nice location and good stuff. breakfast was good. clean and professional.

The room was a ground floor room that was pretty tiny with view of a close by wall. But the hotel, staff and all else was good.

The hotel is really close to the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet). The breakfast was okay.

The hotel was on a perfect location within walking distance of the blue Mosque and a number of local sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very good. The rooftop terrace had great views and offer a good place to drink some wine or spend some time with friends. Some of the negative would be it's an older building and the outside noise resinates thru the rooms. It wasn't an issue for me but it might be for some. Overall 2 thumbs up and I will stay there on my next visit to Istanbul.

the hotel is in a neighborhood of squirrelly streets and as such does not get a lot of tourist travel so it is relatively quiet and sedate, requiring a few extra steps to get to the main sites, but still very close. Great staff, very pleasant room, good breakfast. Would definitely return.

Good location, very helpful staff, excellent free breakfast. The downside might be the mosque located very close to the hotel. Early morning (before 7am) prayers may bother people sensitive to noise and willing to sleep some more. But I think it's common issue in Istanbul.

very nice spot, nice price, nice staff, very close to all museums, mosques and other turist attractions.

we stayed for almost 5 nights and there is nothing negative about our stay. staff was friendly and extremely helpful. the hotel is close to all attractions - blue mosque, hippodrome, hagia sofya...just walking dist. clean room, amazing breakfast, polite staff. Definitely going there again.

I planned a trip for 11 people - I was looking for a clean and well priced hotel (no need to be fancy) and finally chose Tash Konak hotel based on: location; free breakfast; good reviews; excellent value. We arrived prior to check-in time and enjoyed waiting in the lobby until rooms were ready. One of the rooms required 2 beds rather than 1 double bed. No problem - a second bed was set up in the room. They also accommodated a rather last-minute request to change to a 3-person room. An elderly member of our group got separated from us while we were out touring. It got dark and we finally headed back to the hotel. The nice, young staff at the hotel were very concerned about her. Eventually the police called and they actually went to the police station and walked back with our missing person. That is above and beyond service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tash Konak. There were lots of nice little restaurants around. It felt like a safe neighborhood. The breakfast was varied and yummy. The breakfast room could also be used to hang out in - we had snacks and coffee there in comfort in the evening. Wifi worked well, plus there was a computer for guests to use, although we didn't use it. This is a 'Can-do' hotel. They will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable, without seeming like they are put by doing so. Thank you to all who made our stay a safe and memorable experience!

We have paid 100$/ night. For this price, it was a beautiful hotel in great location, a short walking distance to the Blue Mosque. Very good Turkish breakfast, big smiles from the staff and very quiet rooms. Room 104 is a family room with two smaller bedrooms.

Fantastic every one get away .this hotel was the best

Everything about this cute little hotel was great. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, and they gave us an upgrade to a suite even though we just booked a regular room (which was still a great value). But, the ladies preparing the wonderful breakfast buffet were the best part! They were so sweet and welcoming and they made our time at the hotel very wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sultanahmed.

Great little hotel, good price, nice clean rooms, free wifi, helpful staff and fantastic location close to all the big places a visitor would want to see. I would stay there again for sure!

Staff is very friendly and helpful Location is good for first time english speaking visitors to Istanbul because of the proximity to tourist sites, although if/when we go back would probably prefer to stay in a different neighborhood Good free breakfast in the morning Free wifi Was a little difficult to find on our own the first day Overall, would recommend to first time visitors to Istanbul and we would stay again if we were going to stay in Sultanahmet

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and nice view on the terrace.

The hotel is "no frills" but it has everything you need-I had a twin bed and small bathroom. The best part of the hotel was the rooftop terrace where you have breakfast--great view and decent food.

Tash Konak is a small hotel; don't expect the same conditions as you would from Hilton Hotel for example. But the building itself is a historical one; there is no room for anything else. Rooms are small and old, but the location is definitely rewarding. The staff is very friendly, as most Turks are. Breakfasts are absolutely great. The view from the hotel is almost divine. And if you visit the hotel during warm weather season – you will love the small, romantic garden patio they have. After tree trips to Turkey and experience with at least 7 hotels, Tash Konak is definitely a place we will be back.
