Great hotel. Conventional bar/lounge. Very nice breakfast with a lot of choice. I spent few days for a recent business trip: good stay... even if rooms are a little bit "oldschool" for me. Waiters helpful.

If you have to do business in the area, you will make a good choice with the Marriott Asia. This Hotel has a good quality/Price Ratio. Even of the rooms have not the newest design, they are clean and you feel welcomed. The staff is really nice. Do not hesitate to take an Executive room in Order to benefit from the lounge. You Will find hot and cold dishes and alcoholic beverages in the evening. The breakfast at the restaurant (with plenty of dishes) is also included. Consider 1 hour drive from Ataturk because of the constant heavy traffic in Istanbul.

The hotel is well located at the Asian side at the intersection of two big hubs. Surrounding is clear, no other buildings apart from a tower. Check in was quick, staff is friendly. The rooms are really big, well designed. Bathroom is filled with high quality amenities. Breakfast menu is to be talked about. So many varieties can not be found easily any part of the world. All delicious, staff running around. Hotel took a bit of too much security measures. All cars are thoroughly controlled before entering the hotel grounds.

I really have a hard time to understand what is the problem with Istanbul hotel turning on the air conditioner during winter. I was in Istanbul in March of 2018 - 16 Celsius degrees, definetely not extremely cold (end of winter almost) and since the first day of my stay I complained about the air conditioner. Several excuses were given to me, the first was that that might be a problem and they would check and nothing was done. Second day, I complained again and they managed to turn on the air for one night, on the following morning I left to work and when I returned to the room, guess what? Air conditioner off, OF COURSE. This was already my 3rd day, I called to complain again, and then they offered me a room on the other column. As only had two more days in the hotel I refused because all of the trouble I would have. Then on my last day I went to talk to one of the clerk and he admitted that during that time, the air conditioner worked on the "winter mode" which means, IT DOES NOT WORK, WHAT THEY DO IS LET THE FAN ON. Marriot, I will tell you something that you might not be aware of, if anyone go to your website now is written all room offer AIR CONDITIONER, not FAN. But when you arrive in your room, you will see that the air doesnt work. So Marriot, that is CHEATING THE CUSTOMER. You offer something in your website, REGARDLESS OF THE SEASON, and you just dont provide it. I could expect this attitude of more common hotels but not from Marriot, choosing to save costs and have a lower energy bill on the exchange of CHEATING THE CUSTOMER AND MAKING THEIR STAY TERRIBLE. I slept terribly all the days I was there because your hotel is tight fistead and want to save some changes in the cost of unpleasing the customer. Also had a funny episode with a taxi driver. I ordered a taxi from the yellow ones, you Marriot, called the taxi to me and the guy was speeding as hell, driving in a total unsafe manner and completely LOST, he said he knew the address to hotel staff and didnt. We had to stop several times to ask for help and of course this was not discounted on my payment. Went to complain with the manager of Marriott I was told as this was a yellow cab they did not have responsibility. Right, so you allow these cars to enter in your property, take YOUR customers, let the charge be done on YOUR HOTEL NUMBERS and you have no responsibility? Quite funny actually, the manager also told me if I was not happy with the ride and would like a discount for the trouble that we got lost, I should have talked directly to the driver. But please explain to me how, AS HE DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH AND I DONT SPEAK TURKISH??? Disappointed again. Ah, also ordered dinned in my room one day and got a HAIR in my salad, Manager called and said I´d not have charges in the whole meal, which was the salad and a wine. Guess what? I was lied again, they only did not charge the salad, wine was charged. To sum up, Marriot Asia Istanbul is not in Marriot level, staff is very unprepared and instead of trying to help the client they try to prove them wrong as is my taxi episode. The only reason why Im not giveing a rate ONE - THE WORST is because of the health club and Spa. Spa clerk and all staff are increadibly nice, amicable and helpful, when I was there I really felt I was in a Marriott chain, after leaving you just feel in you are in a regualar hotel. Needless to say I will never go back to be a guest in Marriot. SHAME ON YOU, MARRIOT ASIA ISTANBUL. By the way, you are still missing to give me my points for that stay, please do it as soon as possible.

Everything was excellent. Bed quality and room service. location is good but it depends where you will visit in Asia side, as I was in traffic all the time. Bagdad street seems to be near but traffic will take u an hour.

From beginning to end of my stay the staff was fantastic. I arrived late on a cool evening, the reception gave me a warm drink while checking-in. The staff was always nearby, but not intrusive. The room was a good size. The bath had nice toiletries. I was traveling for business so I did not use the spa or other facilities. I always like Marriott's pillow choice offer. The breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of choices. My only negative comment is that coffee was not immediately offered. When I left they gave me a small box of Turkish Delights candy. A lovely sendoff.

Very good service. English language still a challenge in the restaurant but that's Turkey. Breakfast well presented and food is good. Rooms spacious with lovely view of Istanbul although situated in busy part of the city. When staying here ask for room on the higher floors ... quiet part of the hotel... easily accessible with fast elevators.

I liked the high ceilings in the room, but the lighting was quite bad over the bed. There was plenty of room to spread out. If you have business in the area, I would recommend the hotel. The front desk staff is eager to please. There are some large malls in the nearby Atasehir neighborhood. I'd stay here again if I am in the area.

Very conveniently located, although surrounding area doesn't offer much, very nice and well maintained property. Spacious rooms, well equipped, very friendly and accommodating staff and nice food offerings. Their banqueting facilities are also impressive, i think overall the best choice in Asian part of Istanbul.

What can I say... it’s one of the best Marriott’s chain, spacious rooms, delicious food, very friendly staff, great hospitality... But but but very poor WiFi inside the room! So try to find an alternative!
