It is located in right front of the new mall, and you can enjoy shopping and restaurants there. The reception and our room was clean and beautiful which gave us satisfaction. It felt like secure around the hotel, but the road on which the hotel is are too busy with vehicles, which requires your caution.

Perfect location in istanbul

Enjoyed every bit of the stay and will go back for sure - the service is outstanding, rooms are small but great and you can’t beat the location. I10 min walk from Galata tower. The rooftop bar was outstanding and they have great DJs. The bufet was awesome too even though a bit pricey. Definitely doNOT book on hotels.com if you have Marriott status because you don’t get any of the benefits then. Just pay a bit more and book directly through Marriott.

My stay at the JW Marriott Bosphorus was made truly special by the outstanding service. When I arrived and discovered my room had no windows, Ernan at the front desk handled the situation with incredible professionalism and kindness, quickly moving me to a much more comfortable room. His attention and care really stood out. The location is unbeatable — right on the Bosphorus and close to everything. The restaurants are a highlight, offering extraordinary food and amazing views of the city and the water. Dining here feels like an experience in itself. The gym is compact but convenient — well-equipped and great for a quick, efficient workout. I would absolutely return. Service like this makes all the difference.

Very, very small room very tight every way you turn. Bathroom sink area no surface area to put anything. My wife did not have a space to blow dry her hair in front of the mirror where she would might be able to blow dry her hair was a large TV. She ended up plugging the blow dryer in the hallway, plug and sitting in the hallway on the round stool so she can use the mirror in the hallway to blow dry her hair. The bathroom, faucet cold, and hot water were sticking and not mixing properly. Very aggravating to get the water to come out the right temperature . Close-up mirror back light was not working they. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. This is a high class hotel unfortunately high class part of it was only the charges, they need to take care of the basics. Will not recommend it they will not stay at this place again.

Stayed for a 2 night weekend visit to Istanbul in Bosphorous view room. Stay was fantastic from start to finish. Hotel is in a great location. The galataport area of shops and restaurants is right outside and also plenty of night life. Staff were excellent. Friendly helpful and enthusiastic at all times from reception to restaurant and housekeeping staff. We ate at Octo on the 9th floor on Saturday night. Food was great and service exceptional. Just a short flight of stairs up to Sky Karaköy bar on the roof for cocktails and fantastic views of Istanbul and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast amazing. Good selection of the usual international dishes but Haci Mehmet made us really tasty local Turkish dishes on top for us to try without us even asking!. Depending on traffic it was a 20-30 min uber ride to Topkapi/Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque or a short walk to the tram and 7 mins into the golden horn from there. One tip is that the road is narrow and gets bad traffic in the afternoon so either leave plenty of time when ordering cab/uber or walk a couple of streets back from the water edge towards the main road and pick up your cab there. Also Bosphorous rooms view can be temporarily partially blocked by very large cruise ships docking straight opposite!! Wasn’t cheap but was a full 5-star service. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient, nice and safe location

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This hotel location is convenient to the water and the area historical sites. The tram is about a 5 minute walk that takes you anywhere a tourist would need to go.

Worst stay ever. This is not a JW Marriott. They don’t deserve that title. 100 reasons never to stay at this hotel—too many to list. Heaters didn’t work, no hot water, construction early AMs even on sundays making it difficult to sleep, dark closets, minimal hanger space, tiny rooms, worst dry cleaning service ever but they charge 15 Euros for a shirt, etc… and when u complain, all they say is ur right and it stops there…I cancelled all of my future stays for business w this hotel.

Perfect location for sightseeing, you can walk to all major attractions (Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazzar, spice market) or take the tram which is one block from the hotel and is very easy. The staff at the hotel are great particularly at the restaurants.

Property is located in a wonderful area. It's across the street from a wide and scenic broad walk along the Bosphorus with many casual restaurants to choose from. There is a high-end Turkish designers' shopping center right across the street and in front of the hotel. Peninsula hotel is across the street for formal dining. Galata tower, Istiqlal street and charming old neighborhoods are 15-minute walk and historic sites on the European side are 15-minute taxi ride. Property is in a good condition, new and clean. We had the Bosphorus view one bedroom suit that was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. There are 2 restaurant and one cafe inside the hotel. Spa is very nice. Service is excellent 10/10. Anytime we called for something, it was brought right at our door in less than 5 minutes. I have traveled a lot and have to say this was so extra ordinary. Hotel staff are generally very helpful and courteous. Front desk and Concierge staff were super kind, polite and always went out of their way to help. I really recommend staying at this hotel.
