Dersaadet Hotel - Special Class

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Stayed 2 nights and location couldn't be better. Just few blocks away from th blue mosque and hagia sophia, the view of the bospherus while eating breakfast was great.

The Dersaadet people are THE BEST! We accidently left a suitcase at the hotel, which we didn't discover until arriving at the airport at 4:00 a.m. The van driver they arranged for us called the hotel and the two young men at the Reception quickly procured a cab and dispatched the case to us at the airport. Additionally, we left a box containing an expensive ceramic in the closet of our room. We didn't discover that it was missing until we arrived home. We e-mailed the hotel and they immediately dispatched the box to us in Florida by post. The Dersaadet is attentive to every detail. The view from the roof-top bar/breakfast terrace has to be one of the best in Istanbul!

I arrived at 6AM and the desk clerk (who is amazing!) let me check in early and then told me I could have breakfast as well - as his guest. The breakfast they serve daily is amazing. Everyone is friendly. The staff all speak English quite well. I booked this hotel without much research but know now that I would never stay anywhere else. I will say that there were no children staying while I was there and this was a plus.

A really ideal place to get away if you are traveling with small kids. The resort is beautiful, and if you get all inclusive the amenities are great deal. The staff are very friendly and nice. The only downside is the wifi, which really should't be something to complain about on vacation, but still, bad wifi is never helpful. As for the experience, if you just want a week to relax in the sun this is ideal.

Excellent!!! I will stay at this hotel in the future.

Great Personality Hotel close to everything you needto see in Old Istanbul. Centrally located, great staff, quite and excellent breakfast with a view.

We were happily surprised by the service and the people who were always careful to every detail. The terrace has a great view. The only thing might be the muezzin from very close minarets that is pretty loud and might wake you up but this is true for all the Sultanamet area.

Beautiful roof terrace, unfortunately closed at night time. Staff very helpful and friendly.

With the busy, noisy streets of Istanbul, it was wonderful to return to the lovely decorated, calm, smoke free environment to smiling greeters. We had a wine and rest in the little restaurant at the top of the hotel. It was all a lovely experience.

It was our first trip to Istanbul and we wanted a hotel near the historic sights. This was it. From the breakfast buffet, you looked out on the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. The hotel was clean and the staff was more than helpful in directing us to sights and recommending restaurants. When we go back to Istanbul, this is where we are going to stay.

Dear Joe, Thank you so much for this lovely review, and calling us "great". We are flattered! Taking this chance, may we also inform you and our future guests that we have quite various room types in different sizes ( and different bathroom sizes) . The room reserved in your reservation was the most basic room type and there are four higher room categories in different sizes. Kind regards,
