It's an overall great hotel. Great staff clean rooms. Always my first choice if theres a Microtel Hotel where I'm staying.
The property itself is fine. There is nothing wrong with it or the area around it in general. It is meant to be an economical place to stay so no one should expect resort type ammenities. There is no pool or spa but for an economical price that is ok. Heres my problem. I booked the room at $98 on Orbitz. When i got there they changed the price to $139 and told me their room rates change daily. It was too late to go sonewhere else by then. Then next surprise was they wanted to charge me a $50 deposit that they say would be refunded to me after i checked out. I asked why they needed that? They said because people often smoke in rooms when they are not supoosed to. She said they had a problem with people overstaying after checkout. This deposit was to insure i didn't smoke or stay past checkout. That made me feel great! I am always glad when people are suspicious of me right away. I still haven't gotten my deposit back on my credit card a week later. I ended up paying the price i would have paid for a more expensive hotel in the end that had more ammenties and larger rooms. They bait and switched me on the price and have to this point kept my deposit even though we left early and are not smokers. Stay there if you like but know what they are possibly going to do to you in advance.
Room was clean and in good shape, bed was comfortable. bath was clean and in good shape .. but water saver shower takes about 10 mins to get wet , then another 10 to rinse off. One tiny piece of soap was provided for both the shower and the sink. Towels were small and scratchy. So, bring your own bath stuff ... room is ok.

Recently remodeled, rooms are nice, beds are good. 2 beds, 8 pillows, 6 towels, 1 tiny bar of soap. So bring your own soap and you`re good. No vent fan in the bath. Things can get steamy and smelly. Bring air freshener. Has fridge, no microwave. Breakfast is a muffin and coffee or juice. Was pleased overall, maybe a little overpriced.

Love everything except for the parking space its way too tight.....im from new York and this was unusual for me.
Clean, tidy and quiet, the area is relatively well located, close to midtown
Liked close proximity to my family in the area. Disliked the noisy heating unit in my room and the intermittent wi-fi disruptions. If you're looking for a basic place to sleep this place will do.

Hello Keilan, In reviewing your reservation, it appears that your rate for Saturday night was changed for one night for some reason. However, we did catch the change and corrected it immediately and you were only billed for the amount that you agreed to pay when you made your reservation. Our rates do change daily, as with most hotels, based on demand, but we always honor the rate once the guest has confirmed the reservation by providng a valid method of payment. The only way a rate would increase or decreas during a stay, is if you extend and decide to stay longer than originally planned, and then you will be charged the posted rate for the day. We do require a $50 refundable deposit from all guests, as is communicated when you make your reservation. We do so as a deterent to guest who smoke in our rooms or cause damage of some sorts. This too, is a common practice, and regretabley neceesary. Your deposit was refunded back to your card on file on the day you checked out. The credit can take 3-10 days or longer to reflect on your account depending on the type of card your use and on your bank. If you have not seen your refund, I would strongly encourge you to reach out to your bank. We do appreciate your business and I hope this helps to clearify your concerns.
