I like that you are to bring groceries and make a meal instead of buying out each night.
The staff was very pleasant. It would have been nice to have room service.
Nice place
I really enjoy checking with Leslie from LA. She was funny, amicable and professional. She filled us with options around to eat, she was very pleasant. Also the view of the hotel was really nice
The are almost finished with the renovations, but some things are not working correctly or not there.
I wasn’t able to stay. They didn’t have any spots available
Difficult to find i.e. the address is on the side of the building that you cannot use with a vehicle. The parking service was replaced while I was there - they took my rented SUV out for dinner. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. Expect an older big city hotel intended for extended stay with few amenities.
Great hotel
Good in general
Bed was hard as a rock. The inside of the rooms could use a facelift. Looking a bit dated; not in a good way.
Bugs in room, old and moldy. Bad odor. They say no smoking but you smell it through the vents. Can’t believe Marriott put their name next to this.
After a horrible experience at another Residence Inn, we were transferred to the Residence Inn Downtown. We were thankful for William who assisted us and made every effort to accommodate us after what had happened. Even after the last hotel messed up our reservation, he took care of that as well and contacted us promptly when everything was resolved. The hotel itself had amazing staff from the front desk workers to the valet drivers. The hotel has lots of restaurants in close proximity that you can walk to. We had a one bedroom with a fridge, stove-top, and microwave, which was necessary for our three day trip with our children. Overall, it turned out to be a great stay because of the professionalism and assistance from William and the staff at this hotel. Great customer service matters and is on full display here.
It was within walking distance of Centennial Park. The building was historic, and yet the rooms had been upgraded/modernized. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The upgrade cost for a small kitchen in the room and breakfast in the morning was very modest. It was a great value.
This hotel is situated right downtown. There is a marta station directly across the street. The aquarium is within walking distance. Peachtree is a 5 minute walk with lots of bars and restraunts

Thank you for your review Michael. We did indeed upgrade our valet service during your stay unfortunately but it was necessary in order to deliver the service guests have come to expect. We are also working on changing our arrival to the Peachtree St side but until then we will make sure we explain that the Forsyth St entrance is the best to use. I do hope that you will come and stay with again as we are scheduled for a complete renovation beginning in May. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us.
