Took my daughter on a overnight work trip and couldn’t be more pleased with both the staff and condition of our room. Very friendly front desk, room was very clean and sanitary feeling as well as had a wonderful dinner 100 feet from our room at the wild goose. would definitely recommend and will book again
Easy access to the highway, friendly staff, nice rooms with adjacent parking, nice diner right next door.
So after paying their $250 cash deposit at check-in, as the guy went to go check the room at check-out, the wife came into the office and told me how the last time I was there (over a year ago), after I left they could could tell I had smoked meth inside the room. Apparently the smell was so strong she had to replace the carpet... Ok, let me get this squared up, for 1- if it smelled so strong of anything, why was it undetected when they checked it? 2- why would carpet be replaced, when there was no carpet? 3- why did I get my deposit back? Both times? Easy answer because you're full of s***! I can not believe how unprofessional and disrespectful this place is. After checking in, I went to work for 9 hours. Came back to the room to get some sleep, but couldn't because one of the neighbors were arguing all night... Didn't get much sleep, but then to be insulted by this b*****, was bs. After I got my deposit back, they said something about not being able to stay there if you live within 40 miles, I told them that's ok, I'll never be coming back anyways.

I love staying that the Scottish Inn. I have stayed several times. It is immaculate and has great cable. The last time I stayed, I stayed on the ground floor. There were some people standing near my room talking loudly for a long period of time. I had to turn on my a/c to block it out when I really did not want to have it on. Perhaps I will ask for a room on the second level next time.
The staff was awesome. I had to leave a night early because of an emergency back home, and they gladly refunded my one nights stay and wished me well. I would love to stay at the Scottish Inn in Ashland next time I go to oregon.
After staying the night at this pet friendly hotel. I was disappointed to be informed they wanted to charge me $250 for undeclared pet. They had me sign nothing for my pet and the room was not messed up. He wouldn’t even go to the room with me so I could show him how clean the room was. There is nothing listed on the Orbitz description about this ridiculous fee. I did not pay it, they did not take my info when I checked in nor did the have me sign anything.
Due to COVID no breakfast was served, but that's not the hotels fault. Nice place. Close to Interstate 5.
The best staff,they were there attentive with all your needs I’ll be back to Ashland Oregon again And I will stay at this hotel again thanks rodeway hotel.
The evening staff was nice. Bathroom clean. The restaurant in same parking lot was good. Not for Celiacs though. The bad part was the carpet made our feet black. Morning staff didn't seem to care and mentioned shampood every few month. I said a vaccum goes a long way and was shrugged off because we were checking out. With two little ones crawling on floor and playing it's disgusting.
hotel was clean and courteous. I especially enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the sprawling ranchlands across the valley from my particular room, which I requested.
This is a basic Inn which is run by a family who was very courteous. Everything was very clean and the continental breakfast was adequate. Our room had a small fridge which was a huge plus for us. The shower had SUPER powerful pressure. They allow late check-in which we needed (1a). I would stay there again if another road trip required it. The price for what you get is perfect.
We go to Ashland every year for our professional theater "fix", and have stayed at most of the lower priced hotels by now. This Rodeway was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very well located for all of our activities. At the lower end of the price range, this was the best "home base" we have had in Ashland.
After an OSF evening performance it's too far to drive home - just needed a safe place to rest. Staff was pleasant. Hotel is very basic but bed and bathroom were clean and that was the important part. Pool looked nice though we didn't swim. Located right at on ramp to I-5. Notably fast WiFi in the room. Breakfast menu: packaged danishes, fruit loops, corn flakes, flavored oatmeal, bananas, red delicious apples, eggs/ drinks: coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice and cranberry juice.
They let me in earlier than I scheduled it. Nice amenities. Noisey location...lots of roadwork being done at the time. Accessibility to groceries and food places. Easy to get on/off freeway. I knew they allowed pets but I wasn't told there was a fee until I got there...had to pay $10 for each of my two dogs. Other than that, it was a good stay for the price.
Pluses... Hot water for shower is the best I have ever had including 5 star hotels, nice heater for comfortable room in winter. Clean room. ok continental breakfast. Next door to WildGoose an excellent restaurant at reasonable prices... Love the Garlic. Near to freeway and all Ashland has to offer. We went to Shakespeare Festival, Crater Lake. Rouge River. So this was the perfect location.
Staff was friendly, gave me a downstairs room I requested. Everything clean and working, close to restaurants, stores, the university, freeway, etc. Would have been perfect accept for the noisey people I had next door.
