We stayed at the cabin with two of our adult children, their spouses and 1 year olds. The location is very handy for going to Mt. Rainier. The cabin is well built, but be aware that one area with beds only has half a door, so it is open, and bit more challenging for sleeping children while adults are up. There is no AC but plenty of fans, though if it is very hot out it may be tough to cool adequately. The instructions said not to open the windows and doors as it can attract animals, understandable, however, it could be a bit warm inside during summer months. As others have mentioned, the cabin is on a well and the water is quite hard and full of iron. We have lived with a well before so it didn't bother us, though we also used a water softener which makes a big difference. Bath water was tinged brown, but it is just esthetic. I wouldn't wash light colored clothing though as it likely will get stained. We used the provided bottled water for drinking. I would recommend that some new pots and pans be added as most provided seemed in very used condition as far as the non-stick, and the nicer pan did not have a lid that matched. The dishes were nice though the plates didn't fit in the microwave so maybe add some smaller plates as well. Plenty of glasses and silverware. Lots of towels available. The restaurant next door is very good and a nice option. Our pet passed away the week before we arrived, but it is a nice option if you have a pet along. A big back yard for kids and pets
