Friendly Staff and close to university and stores. I would recommend it

A wonderful little hotel close to Univ. of Michigan's North Campus. We enjoyed everything about our stay--from the super-friendly & helpful staff at check-in, to the clean, comfortable, stylish room, to the complimentary breakfast. Quite possibly the most friendly front desk staff I've ever encountered in all my travels. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Ann Arbor.

Hampton Inn Ann Arbor North was a perfect place for an overnight stay if you are visiting Ann Arbor. It is only 10 minutes from the central campus of the U of M, and extremely close to the North campus. Accommodations were comfortable but tight quarters for 3.

room cleaning was a bit iffy -- day 1 was normal; day 2, I was in the room and said I didn't need cleaning; day 3 and day 4, no cleaning at all!

Location was very accessable with resturant attached which made it easy during bad weather. Staff was basic but didn't do much more than would be expected. Room was comfortable but bathroom was very small and tight. Breakfast was simple but more than most with omelettes and bacon. Good hotel for the basics but not much more

i missed having a hand shower, all else was fine. Liked the breakfast omelette, tho not the sausages. we did't try any other food offerings.

Everything went as planned without a hitch, including indoor access to the next door Applebee's

Decent hotel. Had some issues with the thermostat.

Good location away from campus.Room large and very clean.Checkout simple and morning breakfast fantastic that was included in price.Good value for a football game weekend in Ann Arbor.

We booked a room for one night and it offers almost everything we need. Excellent stay at Hampton Inn

Very comfortable. Great location near college and near Meijer to be able to get last minute supplies for our college student. However, because I'm short, the bed was too high for me to climb on and off.

Expected more considering the amount of money involved. Just a basic room with no extra trimmings but very costly room for what you get

I travel to Ann Arbor for work almost every week and I end up staying in a lot of hotels. This Comfort Inn is definitely the nicest that I've stayed in yet. It's clean and definitely quiet. I checked in really late at night and the receptionist gave me some small snacks to eat before I went to bed - something that he didn't necessarily have to/need to do. They have a nice breakfast in the morning, too. Since the hotel is so close to the freeway I could easily get to work within 15 minutes. Overall, I will definitely stay there again.

Not a luxury stay..but serves its purpose. Staff very courteous and rooms seem well cared for. Room cleanliness is most important to me...I always worry about sleeping in a room where thousands have slept before me, but housekeeping seemed very diligent so i was very happy

The staff is wonderful, but the hotel as a whole is tired and worn.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The compliimentary breakfast was not that good but I didnot know there was free breakfast while booking, so it was kind of extra for us.

I took my daughter to visit U of M and chose this hotel for its location, double beds and price. It was a great choice. The room was clean, very comfortable, roomy and in like new condition. The location is essentially across the street from North Campus.

We had a pleasant stay, the breakfast was wonderful, staff was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is in need of updating and the common areas weren't as clean as they could've been (i.e. Elevators, hallways, lobby). The location is convenient, right off the highway and close to cvs and a few restaurants.

I had a pleasurable stay. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was more than adequate. Coffee was available 24/7, which is a major plus

I had a great experience staying at the Ann Arbor Hampton Inn. Everything was clean and very comfortable. I liked that there was a clean indoor pool and a work out room (although it consisted of a treadmill and a stairclimber only). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was tasty, but a little sparse on the protein compared to other places I have been (then again, I am partial to biscuits and gravy, which are more common in hotels in the south). I also liked that there is an Applebees attached to the hotel, so I didn't have to go out in the sub-zero January temperatures for lunch or dinner. Overall it was a great stay despite the sub-zero weather.
