This was an excellent choice... We were very sceptical because of the reviews, but Tonya the Manager and her entire staff was class acts. The room was way cleaner than any room I've stayed in a Long time, and to be honest, never stayed in one cleaner! I travel 26 weeks out of the year and stay at many different hotels all over the southeast, I give this Days Inn a 10 out of 10 all around. Thanks Tonya and please relay to your professional staff. See y'all the next time I come to Anderson. Tony L.
Remodeling rooms, Our room was nice no more carpet, all new wood looking stuff on floor. Still need a little updating. Breakfast was Bad no fruit, stale muffin and two types of cereal. Orange/ apple juice machine an coffee. Great location.
This place was terribly run down and not clean at all. Upon arrival, we turned down our sheets to find hair that was obviously not ours, lots of lint and holes in the sheets and bedspreads. We asked for clean sheets to be put on while we were out, but came back to find the beds made with the SAME sheets on them!! Towels had stains and the bathroom had a roach crawling on the floor. Our room smelled awful and the air conditioner was extremely dirty. The breakfast was equally disappointing. Will definitely not stay here again!!
There were stains on the room wall, bathroom wall, curtain and bed spread. Shower knob was inoperative (either cold or hot, no in between). Continental breakfast was Corn Flakes. No pot in the coffee maker. The room was smoke free. However, smoke from other rooms/outside continuously entered the room. One positive: the location was convenient to food, events we attended and the interstate.
cleanlinest of rooms no carpet had vynal floors bath walls had water stains running all down them toilet seat was broken at bolts was half empty 2 liter drinks in fridge upon arrival and we put in trash next day after rooms cleaned they ended up back in fridge. no decafe coffee pouches in room and only 1 regular overall rooms were avg and frigin heater sounded like a 767 jet wakes you up
Where do I start? We had a ton of struggles claiming our room. We had a confirmation on a busy weekend but then the day of our arrival they called us and claimed the original card doesn’t work and they need a new one or we would lose the room. Next, once we get into the room it reeks of cigarette smoke even though we booked a non smoking room. There were red/orange and dark spots on the comforter and blankets. Then, when we took our showers the water wouldn’t drain. These are all things that were evident without even trying hard to look into anything. Plus, the entire night there were thumping noises coming from upstairs and nearby. Unless I’m in a very desperate situation we will never ever stay here again! And all this for $100?!?
NEVER AGAIN! This weekend we were staying there was a really busy weekend, baseball and basketball games at Clemson and SC High School State Wrestling Tournament being held in Anderson so ALL hotels were sold out all over. The usual hotel that we stay at was sold out, we visit the area every 2 months to see our son at Clemson. This was the worst experience in a hotel we have ever had! First I got an email saying my reservation was going to be canceled because the card I used to reserve the room could not be confirmed. Really? When I reserved the room on Wyndham Rewards website I didn't have a problem, girl said she needed another card, so I gave her THE SAME CARD number and she said, "Great that worked" WOW magic. Then around 6:30 p.m. while we were at the Wrestling Tournament I received a call from the manager asking when we were checking in because they were overbooked! WHAT?? OMG!! I have a confirmed room, you have my credit card and I have to check in like a curfew?? I told him NOW!!! Drove right there to get my key! He said, "Oh it was no rush." It sure seemed like since you have tried to cancel my room twice in one day. Left for dinner and returned around 9:30 pm. Went through my nightly routine and washing my face and such looked down and there was water all over the floor, the faucet under the sink and leaked all over the floor! Tossed a towel down to soak that all up. Left for the day the next morning and returned that night around 9:30 pm. NO TOWELS OF ANY KIND LEFT AT ALL!!! Called down to the front desk, we would have to walk down to get them. Have I mentioned that there were contractors staying at the hotel that cooked on the sidewalk with electric skillets and smoked like crazy. So I sent my husband down. He returned saying the night manager apologized saying they were overbooked again. How is their being over-booked an issue with housekeepings ability to leave towels? Oh and only a half roll and toilet paper and not back up. So NEVER AGAIN! Do your self a favor and go to the next exit!!
Hotel is recently renovated. It was clean, quite and everything you need for a night or two. Good location and next door to a Hardees and a gas station. I would stay there again if in the area and needed a hotel.
This was an average stay. Nothing in general except without heat or AC running, I could hear in other rooms which I prefer not to hear what others are doing in their rooms
Although the room appeared to have been remolded, the walls were in need of painting and the front door bottom jam was not installed. Light during the day was obvious and at night cold air came in, making the hard woord floor cold.
