In these parks we will find different routes marked for walking or cycling, of moderate or medium difficulty. We can also see various species of wild animals such as roe deer, deer, vultures, etc. , very common in these places.

In our vicinity we can enjoy the visit to the museums of the area, such as the Liquor Museum in Amurrio, or the ethnographic museums of Amurrio and Artziniega, two historic centers with their buildings and medieval towers, in the towns of Artziniega, 15 minutes, or Orduña, 10 minutes from Mendiko Baserria by car. If you prefer our guests can leave your car in the parked house and head to the latter town by train, since the station will be 7 minutes from Mendiko Baserria.

We can take this same train, and it is highly recommended, to visit Bilbao. In this city, as in most, it costs a lot to move by car, and parking lots are scarce and expensive. On the other hand, it has good public transport with the tram, the subway and a multitude of urban bus lines. And not only in Bilbao, but in the entire periphery of Greater Bilbao, reaching the subway to the beach of Plencia. We cannot leave Bilbao without seeing the well-known Guggenheim Museum, but we must also visit the Museum of Fine Arts or the Old Town, hallmarks of Bilbao.
