I stayed one night in this hostel and the room had bed bugs/fleas. I could not sleep at all and found multiple bugs in the bed. I killed some of them and kept samples and photos as proof. The property refused to help properly. I am requesting an immediate refund or relocation due to unsafe and unhygienic conditions. This is a health and hygiene issue and I expect Expedia to intervene immediately.

Firstly, the pictures advertised on the rooms are completely misleading. Everything is broken and dirty and smells when you walk in. Secondly, the website mentions a ‘comfortable and affordable stay’ but it’s not comfortable whatsoever when there are bugs crawling around me and biting me when I’m trying to sleep. The staff rarely clean the rooms, when requested to vacuum the rooms, they delay it and say ‘tomorrow’. When tomorrow comes, nobody vacuums the room. I have videos of the bugs all over my bed and on the walls around me.

checked out within 10 minutes of arrival because this property is a health and safety hazard. The room was covered in significant mould (walls and windows), and the flooring was filthy and untidy. The stairs are dangerously steep and lack basic safety features, making them a serious risk. To make matters worse, the bathroom door was broken and would not close, and there were no blinds or curtains on the windows, leaving zero privacy from the street. I did not use any facilities and left immediately. Avoid this place if you value your health and safety.

Bed bug infested and extremely unsanitary. We weren’t able to stay at the hostel because of its issues. We were left stranded with no place to stay. I contacted the property multiple times and they refuse to answer. I’m working on getting a refund because there is no way we could’ve stayed at the property without getting some sort of disease.
