What can I say but a beautiful hotel spotlessly clean, beds extremley comfartable staff very helpful.(they will even print out your boarding passes if you email it to them) food in the restaurant is beautiful although we didn't choose the 15 euro buffet breakfast as I'm a cereal and toast kinda girl lol. There isn't anything to do in walking distance but the trams are very cheap we got a 48 hour pass for 12 euros 50 and the trams are a 5 min walk away stand number 2 every 10 mins all we enjoyed our break thanks to all the staff x

Hotel was lovley clean and tidy, was able to leave bags as we arrived early and unable to check in, staff very friendly and helpful spoke amazing English so no worries communicating When did check in was quick and easy but was charged €3 for city tax which wasn’t explained or told about on booking no biggie tho Room was upgraded nice touch clean and tidy couple down sides small mould in bathroom and dirty pillow case but nothing that couldn’t be fix by housekeeping Only down side was expensive shop downstairs €10 for two bottles of coke and choc bar was a bit steap Would love to stay again and will just bring my own snacks

Corendon Vitality Hotel Amsterdam, Aletta Jacobslaan 7, 1066 BP Amsterdam A very decent business hotel, in an isolated place in the suburban. If you have a purpose to stay around this area, then this is a highly recommended four star hotel. There are no restaurants or shops around this hotel at a walking distance. Only three minute walk to the metro station Henk Sneevlietweg, but there is no vending machine outside, so you cannot access it if you don’t have a public transport pass in possession. Frist trip make it on tram where you can purchase the public transport ticket, but only credit card accepted. They have a decent Spa at the basement, the charge to access the spa is Euro 15.00 per person per stay. Flipper is a must which is also available for Euro 7.00 Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms and toilets are clean. My first experience at a four star hotel providing paper cups for coffee and tea. But used cups will never be removed from the table. I stayed here for three nights and the used cups were never been removed. When I have pointed out this to Ms. Eva at the reception during my check-out, she told me to mail her with the picture, which will be taken up to the management, which I did after check-out on 8th of July but until now I have not received any response from the management. So I assume it’s the policy of the house keeping. The charges for late check-out after 12 noon is 10 Euro per hour as per hotel policy. Buffet lunch for Euro 14.00 is a big disaster. Same breakfast buffet spread with very little modification. Better go for an a la carte if you have no other options. However on the whole it’s a nice hotel, if you know all the pros and cons in advance, you will not be disappointed.

I had multiple confirmation emails from this property, but one week before arriving we were told they did not have our booking and moved us to another hotel further out (which messed with our timings for the weekend and cost us more in taxis). We then arrived and were told we had not paid (we paid when booking). Then our rooms were not ready on time (it was 3pm, check in was 2pm). The staff were rude throughout. Once our rooms were ready we found that the triple rooms we had booked were actually doubles. We were the assured that with we were out extra beds would be provided. We returned around midnight to find this had not been the case and we had to push for extra rooms. I emailed Corendon throughout to complain, but no compensation was offered. Overall this ruined my sister's hen do experience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel or their sister hotel Corendon Village Hotel.

Convenient location, friendly staff, spacy & clean rooms BUT.... there were bed bugs in my bed & being allergic to insect bites this ruined my holidays. The staff were apologetic & we changed rooms but how can I recommend this hotel as I sit in the waiting room of my dermalogist with many,many bites all over my body & itching everywhere!!!

This hotel was not at all what we were led to believe. Upon arriving after 2 pm check in time, we had to wait over 30 minutes in the lobby until a room was ready. The front desk person was annoyed that I asked when our room would be ready after we had waited so long. He made a great deal of showing he didn't appreciate us "bugging again" and that he would let us know when something was ready. When we finally got to the room, it was all torn apart. Wallpaper pulled from the walls, no baseboards, the beds were 2 roll away beds put together and the carpet was all stained. We asked for a manager to come. When she got to the room she said she wasn't aware they were putting anyone in this room because of the state it was in. She did find us another room, it was better, but it was far from what the pictures looked like online. The carpet was badly stained, the bathroom smelled of mold and was dirty. We were exhausted and decided to stay. But, throughout our stay we found the front desk staff and restaurant staff were crabby and unhelpful! One positive was the spa!! We had great massages, but will never go back to this place again!

I really liked staying at this hotel. If you don't mind a 15 minute or so journey on a tram into central Amsterdam then I'd recommend staying here. We purchased a 72 hour tram pass for €17.50...we got out money's worth! Breakfast is really good...self service and have as much as you want. I was slightly disappointed with the restaurant menu as there wasn't much choice. They have a snacks and drinks bar as you enter the hotel which is open 24/7...Really good idea as we got a pizza from there one night. The spa is lovely...sauna, steam room, pool and relaxing chairs. Can also use some exfoliator beads by the showers! Our room was lovely! Had a king sized bed, air con - which you can change to suit, shower, bath and electric blind! All members of staff were very helpful, polite and cleaned up all finished food and dishes very quickly! Would stay again! Thanks!

Had a lovely stay at Corendon happy that the spa was only 15 Euro for the whole stay we used many times kept very clean couple of complaints our room carpet had more than a few stains on it and around the bath tub was mouldy , also great choice of snacks food at the bazaar although one day we waited almost 25 minuets for a cheese and ham toastie I think there should be more than one member of staff at the bazaar one staff member served us then took food up to a different room and didn’t let us know we didn’t know if he was coming back or not . Other than that it’s a lovely hotel very peaceful thanks !

The hotel has a very good position though its outside of the central of Amsterdam. With the Metro and Bus it is easy to get there. Our room had a fantastic bed and the view of the sevens floor was nice. The room offers a Smart TV and a fridge (which isn‘t a fridge, just a „lookalike“ with two water bottles). The staff there was very kind. Unfortunately we had to wait for a long time until we got to check in, because they had problems with cleaning and sadly the bathroom still wasn‘t clean when we finally could check in. We had to tell the cleaning women where there was hair and dirt, because they acted like they do not see it. Despite that unfortunate situation our stay was great in Amsterdam. Our room got cleaned every day and there was a 24/7 shop in the hotel.

This is a decent hotel if you are comfortable taking public transit. It’s not super close to the heart of Amsterdam, but it’s very close to a tram stop and you could buy passes in the lobby of the hotel (although, I’d suggest buying an iAmsterdam card instead to get tram tickets and other discounts around the city as well). The rooms were clean and the staff was OK. Some staff members were super nice, while others tended to have a case of the grumps. Also, check-in is late in the afternoon, so if you arrive early, you’ll have to drop off your luggage (they’ll check it for you) and find something to do for a while.
