The bed was quite uncomfortable. I had to double the comforter up and sleep on top of it to make the bed softer and then I just asked for an extra sheet to put over me which wasn't quite warm enough. And, the bathroom has no soaps and shampoo individual containers...just has a dispenser attached to the wall of multipurpose soap. Also, there is no movie service. And, there is no formal room service....however I was able to walk down and order flood and ask that it be delivered to my room. Overall, it was slightly nicer than a very basic hotel, and at least there is an on-site restaurant. However, I will not stay here in the future. On my last trip here I was at the Westcord Fashion Hotel and that was much nicer in all categories.

Good experience; I didn't like that there were "smoking rooms" in the same floor as "non smoking rooms" and you can sense the tobacco smell when you got out of the elevator.

The hotel is very modern and is all about Dutch designers. It is located near the Mexx headquarters and IBM. It is in a business park and not close to many restaurants. The food is very good at the restaurant DeStijl. Breakfast is €16.50 if you pay at checkin. I thought the selection was great and the food was fresh. If you want something different the office buildings have reasonably priced coffee shops ha are accessible. We had coffee at the Mexx building. Airport is €4 and Amsterdam centrum is €2 by bus. Both are 20 minute bus rides and stop very close to hotel.

Easy drive from airport, convenient to Amsterdam. Located in business office park

this hotel is beautiful the moment you come in very luxurios and affordable staff was very nice, the rooms were very clean, bed was very comfortable.

The hotel's location is about 5 km from the center, and the walk over is quite nice. I would suggest taking a cab ride to learn the route and take the risk of touring the town on feet to get a good mix of all the different zones.

Relatively new property. Good value for Amsterdam. Very large, comfortable beds. Shower only (no tub). No carpeting on wooden room floors allows potential of noise from upstairs neighbors. Unusual opaque glass bathroom door, part of some of those "Dutch design" touches to this place. Out of the way location, nothing around the hotel except office buildings, which may not be to everyone's liking. 10 minute walk to #2 tram (Louwesweg or Johan Huizingalaan stations) - difficult to do with luggage and quite hard to find hotel. Don't expect taxis at tram stop - relatively desolate area but safe. Note: cheap airport buses (#195) go directly to hotel - nice - but do not run on weekends!!! Also note: "Unilimited" transit pass for some reason does NOT include the bus right behind the hotel (#145) which conveniently connects to downtown but runs only twice an hour. So if you want to use this nearby bus option, it may not be cost effective to buy the transit pass. I found the tram (and 10 minute walk) and the pass the best way to get around (especially without luggage), and avoided that bus.

Very nice clean hotel. A little far from the main tourist sites in Amsterdam. But the tram is a short walk and easy to use. A very pleasant stay here our only negatives were the housekeeping came very early (10am most days) and we were charged for a breakfast which we did not have.

everything about the hotel is very good when you are inside the hotel but the location is terrible and it is in the middle of nowhere! there is no life at the area, not even an ant! it may be good for business men to stay. there is a metro station 2blocks away and 30€ to city center by taxi cabs.

The hotel is great, but in a horrible location. Its almost a 20 minute cab ride from both the airport and train station (central Amsterdam). That will cost up to 20-30 Euros per trip. Or you can take public transportation, but even those stops can be a few blocks away. The room itself is very nice, spacious, and in what appears to be the business campus for many American companies, IBM and PWC to name a few. Also weird that their bathroom doors don't lock. Overall, the hotel itself is great, but if you're hoping to enjoy the attractions of Central Amsterdam, I'd look to go elsewhere.

The hotel wasn't in the city, but the tram was close by and easy to figure out how to use. The hotel was very nice, and the service was great.

took tram 2 and saw the city very easily!

really enjoyed hotl, nice staff, great restaurant, a little far from town but easy to get to on tram 2

Once we found the hotel it was nice. If your going to Amsterdam for the local color ie., night life, shopping, dining you should pick a hotel much closer to the city. This hotel was nice clean etc... out of the way!

Great stay, relaxing bed.

Ideally located for those travelling for business with the many companies located immediately in that vacinity, but too far from Amsterdam City Centre to be convenient for tourists. Staff is not well trained in superior service. One gets the senses that they mean well, but are often overwhelmed or short-staffed and don't seem to understand the levels of attentiveness and service most business travelers require, and Americans are accustomed to.

Very nice hotel, in a quiet neigborhood, short walk to tram, 20 min to museums/attractions

It was easy to get to the hotel from Schiphol airport using the bus 195. The hotel is new and clean and well connected with the downtown through tramway 2 and buses. It is recommended to buy a two or three days pass from Amsterdam Central Station.(Around 12Euro for 48 hours) We went downtown everyday, we walked, we took a boat trip, we visited the museums.

The hotel isn't close to the Centrum so there's a hike to get back and forth to the best areas where food and drink can be found - the hotel does have bikes and scooters for rent but the walk will give you a good chance to see Amsterdam's less touristy side. The paths between the hotel and the Centrum are perfect for biking and skating (some of the best I've ever seen in the world). About the room - I thought it was tidy with the exception of the dirty floor - hardwood floor that needed to be swept and the sink / shower drains were very slow - not sure why that was but it was gross. The hotel staff were very professional, kind, and helpful - the hotel restaurant / bar was good.
