Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam Airport

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Perfect location, easy access to public transport, friendly staff the only flip-side is, having stayed at Marriott properties in many global location we have enjoyed free continental breakfast onsite but this location though had dining facility the price was expensive with limited vegetarian options. Other than that everything was perfect.

rooms are new and good. The only gripe I had was on the shuttle service that the hotel provides and somehow decides to charge you on your bill . For a hotel near the airport, charging is not reasonable. The staff were very friendly and delightful.

Our room was bright. For for people there were plenty of space. Our towel was not changed but she left two towels for four people the next day. We got them from sauna room. The sauna room was ok. The staff was great! They say they have '24 shop' but it barely has anything.

My family of four had a one-night stay in Amsterdam and needed a hotel close to the airport. This one was very nice. Food options are limited, but the rooms were nice and clean. There is a shuttle to the airport. (Make sure to book ahead!) Our favorite part, though, was the AMAZING park right behind the hotel. We took a long walk through the park: a lake, beautiful flowers, fun and interesting playground equipment, and nice paved and unpaved trails. It was a nice was to spend the evening.

Close to Schipol with plenty to do. Clean and convenient!

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful.

We were only staying at the hotel for one night, needing to catch a flight out in the morning. The room was clean, the staff was very polite and helpful, and the shuttle service was right on schedule. I think they're pushing it a bit by saying they are an airport hotel, when it is about a 15 minute ride to the airport (mostly at highway speeds). There isn't much else to do around the hotel, but if you just need a decent place to stay to access the airport, this hotel is just fine.

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is great, albeit a but pricey. My biggest complaint is it is only reachable from airport via shuttle and the shuttle costs 5 EUR and comes about twice an hour. If you don't reserve ahead you might not event get the one you want back to the airport. It's cheaper to take the train to Amsterdam.

Exceed expectations, also the front desk staff, upgrade the room, wthen we described that we were three . Customer service make feel more confortable in a country outside US.

Pro's: - Spacious room by European standards - Very good shower - Good TV system Con's: - Only breakfast option is 20 Euro buffet. Really, I can't just have a pastry and coffee??? - Upon check-in (checking out next day), they didn't bother telling me airport shuttle had to be pre-booked. Then wanted us to wait 2 hours since we didn't pre-book. But they offered better solution when I complained.

The hotelwas very nice and was located within a large entertainment-resort complex. The only problem we had was with service. We requested information about the transport to the airport, but were not told that a reservation was required and was not given the time table. When we inquired the next day we were informed that we would have to take a city bus as the shuttle was full.We were also asked to pay extra for our breakfast that was advertised to be included.
