Went for a holiday trip around Europe with my family. The hotel is nearby to a supermarket (just across the street) and tram stations. And also within walking distance to Albert Cuyp mart. Can go easily to Damrak by tram line 4 to Central Station. The reception girl (Titiana) is nice and helpful with the tips of how to go around the city. The croissants and breads are super good. The room is spacious enough for triple and quadruple beds. Will return for the next trip!
The location is very good, right next to the tram stop. The room is a little small but it is clean. The size of the bathroom was good. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good. I would totally recommend it.
Hotel was in a good location for accessing the central of amsterdam. Staff were friendly too. However twin room isn't really a twin room as 2 single beds pushed together. Other than that I would definitely book here again.
Stayed there for 2 nights with my sister. The location is good, you can Walk to the center in cute little streets or Take the tram, there is a stop 2 minutes away. The bathroom is really nice and modern but the room is not. It is ok, the only bad thing was that it smelled really bad when we arrived. There is a balcony which is a good point.
We had to wait two hours for our room to be ready as there was a problem with the shower. The plumber didn't clean up his mess so we had to tidy the bathroom ourselves. No apology from the rude man on reception although the staff did improve as our stay progressed. The room as so cramped and shabby. We didn't want to walk around in bare feet because the carpet felt damp and dirty. The room was at the very back of the hotel so it was very dark and in the mornings there were people smoking right outside our window! We couldn't open the curtains to get ready and had to stumble around in the weak light of the "2 watt bulb" in the ceiling. The door banging went on all night every night.. so uncomfortable and horrible. We loved Amsterdam but dreaded coming back to our hotel every evening.. no home comforts what so ever. AVOID
That room is like a cell!!i paid for a deluxe room with balcony and they gave me a small corridor to sleep in, it is so narrow that cant fit 2 single beds side by side! Eventhough i told them as am a big guy to give me something bigger but i had already known the answer!! Take it or leave it! I asked for a room with a good wifi but the wifi had a very weak signal! No private balcony its a shared one! Never back again!
Very clean, excellent cleaning, fresh sheets and towels everyday. Our room was very warm and cosy. It's a basic hotel but is more than adequate. Will definitely stay in the future. On the downside, the sink was blocked in hand basin,
Stayed in hotel Atlantis from the 13/11/16 to 15/11/16 with 3 mates. The rooms were warm, clean and tidy. The staff were good fun always having a laugh with us and extremely helpful in advising the best places to go. Would certainly consider staying here again if going with friends. Location is not too bad if you do not mind walking miles, or if your happy to explore the suburbs.
Very small room for a double twin room, small bathroom, but very clean and neat; easy access to public transport, close to the tram 4 going towards city center and Amsterdam Centraal train station; We had an small courtyard /terrace outside the ground floor room, so we could enjoy the fresh air sitting around a table.
We stayed for 3 nights and it was just what we wanted, we arrived and the lady on reception was really friendly explained everything and happy to answer and questions we asked. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Our room was small and basic but it was very clean and tidy and just what we needed for our long weekend!! Staff didn't bother us for anything. Check out is 11am but they do have luggage storage if you have a late flight!! Would definitely use this hotel again
