The hostel is located in nice park, walking distance from the city center. The rooms are big and clean, big quiet library and auditorium just to chill. In the near area is bike rental, flew market, pubs and restaurants. All the attractions can be reach on foot or bike. Great place to stay in Amsterdam.
Great location, great food and bar, the staff were very helpful, clean and comfortable room, and an overall great way to meet people from all over the world. Will definitely be returning here when I come back to Amsterdam!
The room was so clean and comfortable. The hostel in general seems so new although it dates back to being a zoological university building. Very close to everything, bike ride away and has a huge park right in front of it. We stayed in a private two-bed room in the top floor of the hostel with large floor to ceiling windows. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations!
Clean rooms, beautiful location and a creative interior design. The breakfast was good with a reasonable price. My problem was with the extra lockers, some how they charge you twice for a day and that was a problem. I will definitely go back to Amsterdam n give generator another try.
Pros: Clean rooms. Bathrooms in each room. Cons: Location is below average. Staff dont have very good customer service skills. No self catering facilities. Overall wouldn't recommend, but its not the worst hostel ive stayed in.
We been there for 3 night and 4 days the ostel is amazing, very good position in the park , 3/4 min walk to the tram stop , all the room they have a private toilet , comfortable bed and very clean room. The bar ,auditorium and cantine are nice where to spend your time and meet new people . Really recommended place where to spend your holidays in Amsterdam
Great place to stay on a business / scouting trip to Amsterdam. East side is a great place full of creativity. The Tropen Museum and Parks are great to relax for half an hour. Good tram and bus connections make it easy to navigate the city from here.
You can use the place to stay, it is very clean and the rooms have great view over the park, but try to bring your food with you, it is so overpriced, 7 euros for breakfast ticket, to have some donuts and a coffee!!!!
i loved being right in the park. It was a beautiful setting to wake up to and walk home through. It was nice to be able to get away from the craziness of city center while not being too far removed from what makes Amsterdam fabulous
This hostel is amazing, it’s fun and vibrant with lots going on. There’s always a party going on in the bar, the staff are lovely and the food is great! They have an amazing breakfast menu! The room we stayed in was quite small, but can’t complain as we had our own private room.
