Did not feel very safe Older rooms but ok for the price. They would not let us stay a second night for the price we paid. After we saw the room, we were glad. Breakfast was over earlier than most, so we didn't even try that

Is a nice hotel, clean and the people is very polite.

Hotel is outdated - all rooms accessible from outdoors - door had to be slammed to shut it. Breakfast was OK. For the price I could've stayed at a higher quality hotel nearby.

We were traveling and had been on the road all day. It was the only hotel that was still available for the night. It was nothing great. Older hotel, but the front desk lady was very nice.

The hotel seemed a little run downed. The location was great as it was very close to the interstate and the civic center where I was headed to. In regards to the room, the sink was not draining. I called the staff to let them know, they were friendly, but it was never fixed. The shower seemed to drain slow. The rooms did not get cleaned to my satisfaction. It looked like someone killed a bug, possibly a spider, on the wall but did not clean it up. It was not there the day before. Breakfast was good. Parking lot was very crowded. Surprisingly for being on the lower level, it was not very noisy. I have stayed at the Quality Inn before but not at this location. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either.

TV reception horrible, stained chairs, rusty metal in bathroom, non smoking room smelled like smoke, iron holder fell off the wall, sink did not drain.

This place is run down and not kept up. They did have eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy at breakfast which was better than average. The bed was firm, also good.

Anticipating dip in outdoor pool to quell the July heat. Pool was empty / being repaired.

The staff was friendly and helpful enough, and the room was clean. The only issues were that the toilet seat would not stay up, and the mattress was a little worn.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our trip. I specifically was looking for a hotel with a pool. This hotel had a pool but it was close at the end of June so it was not due to it being out of season. The ice machine did not work. In the handicap room the first time the smoke detector was danging on the wall. The 2nd stay the pool was still closed the ice machine was still not working but we did discover that we could get ice at the office. The smoke detector was fixed on the wall, but could not get a receipt at checkout this time.

Great stopover on our way to Dallas & Waco, TX ! Halfway to our final destination!!

The room had a musty smell to it, but not something we couldn't tolerate. The TV did not get a good reception...the picture was so snowy, it made it difficult to watch. The room was well furnished and the king size bed was very comfortable.

Clean room and hotel. Good location. Hotel staff helpful.

All in all...was a good stay. One of the staff was rude which you kinda expect anywhere. Got to the room which was a smoking room..and it stunk very badly!!! Febreeze people!!!!! And the carpet was very sticky!?! Bed was good and clean and slept pretty nice!! It was good for what we needed!!!

We don't travel a lot so my review might be a little off for frequent travellers. The room was adequate for the price. I got a really nice surprise when I checked out. The room was actually cheaper than the quoted price. That is unheard of these days. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay. Thanks.

Staff first checked us into a room with someone already in it then fixed the problem. Our TV and lights were all on when we got in the room, but it was clean. There were a few weirdo's hanging around the hotel. Other than those things, all was ok. Nothing special.

[...] When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a 2nd floor room. I asked if we could have a 1st floor room. The staff said no availability. So we reluctantly took the offer. After we opened the room door, we had to request to switch rooms because it was heavily smoked. The staff said from his computer, the [...] record showed I had selected smoking room. Then suddenly he had non-smoking rooms available for us on the first floor. He was flat-out lying. Upon check-out, we found out all of the other rooms also only had ONE wash cloth. Their excuse was, people steal towels from them that's why they are short of wash cloth.

fine hotel, decent and convenient location, good value for money

There is nothing fancy about this hotel: a clean room, a comfortable bed, and adequate amenities make it a good choice, though there are plenty of other options along I-40.

Fantastic value! We didn't have high expectations for such a low price. But it was a clean, comfortable room at half the price of comparable motels. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, sausage, fresh biscuits, hot gravy, Texas-shaped waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, and more. Only negatives were that the gravy had too much pepper, and they ran out of syrup and milk.
