This place is gross. The room smelled like a combination of body odor and smoke, the beds had 2 different mattresses and were not even the same height, there was dog food on the carpet from a previous guest's pet, the desk chair was falling apart, and the safety latch on the inside of the door was broken. Towels and sheets seemed clean, and the guest laundry area was alright. My husband and I booked the room because we were tired of staying in our fifth wheel, but we didn't actually sleep in the room after we saw it. We just watched TV, did laundry, and used the shower. We slept in our fifth wheel and didn't even go back to the room. This place should be shut down or renovated.

I stayed here 3 years ago when it was Redroof In. It was clean, friendly and safe. Unfortunately I put clients here and 1 left crying. It stunk, fire alarm dangling by wires in the room, cobwebs in the lights, pillows were 1 foot square decorative pillows. The clerk sold snacks from behind the counter at inflated prices. When I called to ask about the condition of the hotel, after seeing pictures my clients sent me, the manager insisted that everything was fine and in perfect shape. Disgusting even for a budget hotel.

This is a great hotel for someone on a very tight budget, the pool was warm and the hot tub was relaxing, great room, comfortable bed, could have a better continental breakfast though, went down at 630 a.m. to find only a choice of Cheerios, Raisin Bran, or white bread for toast, not the best selection, however you get what you pay for. Staff was friendly and helpful!

So first of all this manager saw my military ID when I pull my license out and all of a sudden he asked for a $50 dollar deposit. So I told him I am going somewhere else. I get in the car and start to pull out, he stops me and says that he will waive the fee. As I walk to my room it stunk and carpets is really dirty and old, pool is not the right color. The rooms were dirty, the shower makes noise when you step in. There's crack on the walls. My boss came by to drop off a check and was not allowed to come to my room. They do not allow visitors. I also had someone wake me up at 8am asking when I am leaving. Check out was at 11am. There breakfast is cereal and coffee with no cups. I also saw Bread and a dirty toaster. the card did not work for the two available entrances. I had to walk through the main entrance and upstairs down the hall, almost to the other side of building. Thank god there are plenty more hotels to stay at in Albuquerque. This place are all middle eastern and seem like they have had lots of issues. Oh and there was a fight that started outside the front entrance between two people.

New day, new management for two weeks I hear. I read some of the bad reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was friendly and helped with some difficulties I had with a late Sunday morning check in. The indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi are beautiful. The room I had, king sized bed with sofa was very clean. The wi-fi worked. Download speed 14.11 Mbps, Upload 3.5Mbps (speedtest.net). Google maps was correct in its directions but Apple Maps took me to nearby Mobil 1 hotel. Continental breakfast. Two problems. 1. No hot water! It was eventually fixed hours later, then went cool again. When I mentioned it on check out to the front desk they mentioned a plumber had been called. 2. The TVs are high definition however they are using the cable inputs and getting a standard definition quality picture. Not the crispness you would expect if they were using HDMI inputs. Yes, I'm a techy (television production and web design). Management was very much aware of the bad reputation from the previous owner and genuinely was making strides to improve. I'd probably give them a second shot. Good rates too.
