Friendly staff. The feer that camped outside our deck

The property is over do for a freshing up. The staff was nice . The hotel is in a good location just run down a dit

Restaurant seemed under staffed and out of many items on menu.

This holte was dirty from the elevators to the room. The pools was gross. I almost did not let my kid's swim. The balcony and balcony furniture has seagull poop all over that was not fresh. Looked like it had not been wipe down and a very long time. We didn't want to go on the balcony cuz we didn't want seagull poop in the hotel room. Almost every was out of order. Sadly it was not Not worth the money to stay.

It is in need of updating and a serious cleaning I don't have any else to say. It is a nice day to day. Is that enough to get out of this rabbit hole I'm in

3 front desk staff members were nice but spent more time answering phones repeatedly then they were able to check in only 2 standing waiting customers. Rooms where not at all ready at 4pm check in. We were politely upgraded to the 4th floor with additional upgrades and top floor sunny view of the ocean which was beautiful but patio has zero cover so you cant actually utilize going on to patio at all because of seagulls. Basic amenities not supplied like pen and paper, a coffee pot was supplied without any coffee, only unsealed tea bags without extras which was weird and there are very few extra outlets other than at the desk. Something like usb ports or plugins near the bed have would be nice. The beds and sheets however were exceptionally comfortable! The room was nice and quiet other than in the bathroom where you could hear the seagulls. Showers were always hot and had high water pressure which is rare for most places. Some furniture like the table chairs badly needed repair but the couch was actually the nicest Ive sat on. Shilo Inn is one of the few places at Ocean Shores that have AC, in the rooms, and it worked extremely well. For breakfast we ordered a nice priced $10 breakfast sandwich, which had lot more food than expected with high quality ingredients. Overall it was a nice stay. Though the wait and late check in were frustrating the upgrade made it worth it. I would recommended highly recommend Shilo Inn compared to the other places in the area.

No coffee. No internet. No room service. No peace.

We liked the size of the room would be great for a family of 4. The staff was less then plesant at front desk anx mainteance. Hot tub is closed in the morning for cleaning and was disapointing to guests. Exrcise machine broken. The coffee only available a few hours in the morning. Room was ok but had holes in the wall and stains on furniture. Nice to be on the ocean but next time another place and not ocean shores either.

Paid for a room with an ocean view. instead i was put in a first floor room without a view because I had a small dog. I told them i would be bringing a dog when i made a reservation. Wifi didn't work. Several items in the room were broken. The smell in the room was overwhelming, smelled like dog pee. Long walk to the beach. This is my first and last stay at the Shilo Inn!

Nice lobby and the hotel location to the beach is a plus.

Location was great, but the property itself was very dated, dirty carpets and rooms and the ac just a nightmare

Enjoyed the property. Not the price changing at check in. I might of not of understood paying for room immediately.

Great hotel with great amenities and the beach is beautiful. I traveled from Boston to Seattle and drove the west coast. Such a beautiful part of the country.

Charged fees that wasnt told about, tub was filthy

Key maker was broken. No keys for entire stay. Had to go to front desk, wait in line each time going to your room and they would walkie-talkie your name and room number to someone to let you in. I felt this was risky! Also little kids on exercise machines. Went to do the elliptical and puddles of water where feet go. Not cool!
