We stayed as a family of 4. Room was a good size and the added bonus of a bathroom and shower room. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel is in good location, if we visited Aberdeen would definitely book in again

Having stayed in many Hilton hotels I was disappointed with this one. The rooms in the main part of the hotel haven’t changed since I last stayed 20 years ago and are in dire need of upgrading. Nothing Premier about them at all unless you count a king size bed. The breakfast and dinner were fine but there seemed to be a lack of staff and not the usual Hilton standard of service. All in all attention to detail lacking in every way. The only plus point the hotel has is location which is great for families. Definitely wouldn’t rush back though. Garden Inn is much better.

Stayed on a Saturday night for a weekend visit to see relatives. I chose this hotel due it's proximity to the city centre. It has a good sized car park and is easy accessed by car. Being outside the centre we found it quiet outside during the night.Very handy for a walk along the beach. The bedroom was a good size with a nice comfy bed. Perhaps some might consider the decor and and finishes a bit dated (my girlfriend), but this didn't bother me. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection and quantity. I would recommend it to fellow travellers.

I do not enjoy giving poor reviews and would usually not do so because there is no need for moaning for the sake of moaning but under these circumstances I feel I have no choice but to review my experience. Rude staff. The receptionist did not know what she seemed to be doing and the manager is rude and obnoxious refusing to acknowledge the hotel’s flaws and pinning the blame on the other guests. Security Deposit. Be aware, on top of the original price paid for the hotel you have to pay a security deposit which isn’t mentioned anywhere when booking and when questioning the staff as to why this isn’t listed on the website you will be spoken down to by the manager of the hotel. Dirty rooms. The rooms are old and outdated, the hotel is in urgent need of a refurbishment. When we arrived (at 15:00) we had to wait an additional half an hour because one of the rooms had not finished being cleaned? The worst of all however is our friend’s room had poo on the outside of the toilet bowl - make of this what you will but it is without a doubt the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in a hotel. They then upgraded our friends to a better room which was still unclean, I can understand one room being unclean, maybe even two at a push but three rooms? Unacceptable. Positives? Good location for visiting Beach Ballroom but other alternatives are available which are just as convenient. I would strongly recommend not visiting here based on my experience, you are suppose to receive what you pay for; an excellent, high-end stay. There are better alternatives in Aberdeen city centre which may be a further walk from the Beach Ballroom but will be worth it to avoid this hotel. To sum up this review; DO NOT VISIT.

It's easy just to use the Premier Inn card for work, mainly because I don't have to fill an expenses form in, but decided to try the Doubletree and was hugely impressed. I'd booked the Platinum room for an absolute song, and it was sumptuous. A huge bed, couple of sofas and nice bathroom with an excellent shower. Oh, hang on, did I mention the free, warm cookie I got on check in? Anyway, I digress. The bed was comfortable, the staff superb and the breakfast fantastic. Definitely staying here again.

I've only just arrived in this hotel, but first impressions are great. I have a lovely large room with a sea view, there is no noise pollution, I have eaten an evening meal and both the food and service was great.

This was booked by my wife and was a cheap deal for room only and regulary stay in Hilton Hotels. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a room on the first floor and to be honest the only compliment I can give it was it was functional. The room was dated and needed a refurb. Old style heater in the room, there were two chairs whihc were pretty scuffed, the "double bed" was two single beds pushed together, the bathroom needed re-grouted and the shower water wasn't that hot. We had a drink before going out in the atrium and couldn't fault anything. I stay locally to Aberdeen so if you love the sea, beach and harbour areas then all are in easy walking distance.

Treated ourselves for my birthday and my wife for mothers day to a Platinum Junior Suite.First impressions are very important, the suite was of a good size with large bed and t.v.lots of windows and just able to get a sea view, what a pity the windows were so dirty and with added bird muck. The carpet was stained as was the red chair, rubbish under the bed, missing skirting boards exposing cables, glass topped unit at window very dusty underneath,no high level dusting had been done, leather head board very dirty, big tear down one of the dirty curtains.Limited milks for hot drinks enough for one cup only and only 1 normal and 1 herbal tea bag.Shockingly poor attention to detail and spoiled which should have been a great week-end break.Did not like going across to other building in the wet on the first morning for breakfast.Had a bit of a wait to be seated ,no one there.State of the art pancake maker did not work.Only plus point was reception staff who were friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were in Aberdeen for a concert at the AECC and decided to stay at this hotel, on arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded to premier club room. I would recommend it as the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We even decided to stay an additional night.

This hotel is just near the beach in Aberdeen and just a short 10 minute walk into the town centre. Generally rates are good - around £75 but these can increase. Try and get an upgrade to the Platinum rooms if you can, these are larger more modern rooms than in the main hotel. Good gym, bar and restaurant, good selection of meeting rooms at reasonable rates. Staff helpful and responsive.
