The service was fine but our actual flight was super bumpy and the plane was very small. Thankfully it was a short flight but my wife and I were very ready to be done. For the price it was fine but to say we enjoyed it would be a lie.
Small plane. $30 to check bag. $16 to upgrade seat
I love United. Try to fly it wherever I gi!
The staff were not unfriendly but they didn’t seem very happy
Thank you delta for being so lovely. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. Thank you so much
I lost my computer at the airport. :(
Rebooked on next available flight and made $700!
There needs to be TVs on board for entertainment
Newark and Nashville are both large cities with plenty of attractions to offer. Nashville has a genteel appeal to both locals and tourists due to its deep country music roots and history. It’s easy to book flights from Newark to Nashville on Orbitz.com.
Located about five miles south of Newark’s central business district, Newark Liberty International Airport is the third-largest hub for United Airlines, which provides nonstop flights from Newark to Nashville. The easiest mode of transport to the airport is through train service at the Newark Penn Station, which connects passengers to the AirTrain through NJ Transit. Travel time is only six minutes and costs $8.25. Taxis are also a preferred way to get to the airport; fares are determined by location, but a trip from downtown to the airport will likely cost $15 to $18.
Nashville is well known for its music roots. It is often referred to as the Music City, as it is the hub of some of the biggest performing centers in the country. Travelers will land in Nashville International Airport, roughly five miles from downtown. The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) operates the Route 18 Airport/Elm Hill bus, which runs from the airport and downtown Nashville on an hourly basis. The fare is relatively cheap at $1.70 for a single ride. A taxi ride to the downtown area or the Opryland Hotel area is set to a flat rate of $25. Fare for other destinations start at $7 plus $2 per additional mile. Nashville and Newark have similar humid subtropical climates, with hot humid summers and moderately cool winters. Snow falls during winter, while spring and fall are prone to thunderstorms. Summer and winter are the best seasons to visit this musical city, which has its annual music events from April to New Year’s Eve. Take part in Awesome April, when each weekend is filled with major events. The fourth of July is not complete without the annual party at Riverfront Park. End the year with a high note with the yearly Holiday Symphony, which runs from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve. Complete your musical pilgrimage by visiting the Grand Ole Opry just east of downtown, or travel eleven miles more for the Opryland Resort and Convention Center. If you’re looking for something besides music, be sure to see the Parthenon in Centennial Park, the Tennessee State Museum, and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.
Nashville is a wonderful city for visitors who love music and the arts. It’s pretty hard to turn your back on all that partying and singing, which last practically year round. Booking flights from Newark to Nashville on Orbitz.com before major annual events lets you enjoy comfortable seats and accommodations that suit your budget.
