Hotel Los Recuerdos is a 4 star property about half way from the Penol rock and Guatape town. You can reach it from town with a tuk-tuk moto-taxi for 10,000 pesos. At check-in you get a wristband and you get a pretty clean room with a good view. They have multiple pools and jacuzzis and a decent restaurant. They also have a large boat for sunset cruises which I do not recommend cause I got sick on it and it rained profusely and was freaking cold.
