Domestic and international travelers will arrive at José María Córdova International Airport. The airport is located in the town of Rionegro, about 19 miles from the downtown Medellin area. Traveling through Medellin is quick and easy with the Metro system. The trip from the airport to the downtown area will take about 30 minutes. The city also offers transportation via the Metrocable, a sky cable car. There are also ample taxi services in the city. Minimum taxi fares cost about 4,200 COP. Travelers can also take advantage of the TuriBus for getting around the city for a fare of 1,500 COP. The Circular Coonatra travels through the downtown area at a cost of about 1,400 COP.
