This place deserves 10 stars. Our experience was so good, we decided to extended our stay instead of traveling around the island. The room was very clean and spacious. The bedding was premium and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and also spacious. The kitchen also had everything you need for a quick fix. They have a small fridge, and a dishwasher. The room had a steamer and a blow dryer. I was traveling with my daughter and we always felt safe. The staff was very professional, I can’t say enough good things about them and specially Miguel. They made our trip better with their kindness and professionalism. We got completely breakfast goodies in the room and bread delivered to our door every morning. The location was also perfect. Walkable, quiet during speeding hours despite the construction, we were not disrupted. I recommend staying at Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel 100%.

Great location close to the airport; basic room, but very clean, just what we needed for a one night stay-over. The hotel provides one free trip from or to the airport. A small, but adequate breakfast buffet is included. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We needed help with a minor medical issue on a Friday evening. Management gave us all the healthcare information within minutes and we were well taken care of. Thank you, thank you. Recommend this hotel and would return for sure!

Quiet overall. There are times after 900pm that planes fly over area. The water will smell funny due to the sulfur that is natural but you get used to it. The staff at the Center hotel across the street were universally pleasant and helpful. The apartment has a clothes washer and dishwasher which simplifies things and allows one to bring less clothes. The neighborhood is very lively and feels very safe. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. As has been said in other review of Iceland, eating out and buying alcohol is very expensive (similar to NYC prices) but there is a decent grocery stores about a two minute walk away.
