Reykjavik is packed with points of interest for its visitors. The city boasts a number of prestigious museums and galleries, including the impressive Reykjavik Art Museum. Music is important to this capital too, and the Harpa Concert Hall is one of a number of busy venues. Historic buildings are plentiful too, such as the stunning Hallgrimskirkja church, set high up on a hill, watching over the city.
Just a few kilometers from the airport, Keflavik also has plenty to offer. The town is close to the famous Blue Lagoon thermal spa, and it's also a popular center for whale watching tours. Here you can visit the Viking ship Icelander, a replica of the ship in which Leif Eriksson is said to have discovered America. Children will love the Black Cave of the Giantess, where a giantess from Icelandic fiction tells her story.

one complaint - all four legs of my Icelandair flights the cabin was rather cold - I dressed for that the last 3 - the first leg was a problem
no meals service from Seattle to Keflavik :(
Longer flights should always include food!! Also, elevator-only exit in Toronto right from flight was horrible. Escalator was being worked on, and no stairs were available.
Friendly and efficient flight crew. Thx!
I am grateful the check-in staff seated my boyfriend and I together! :)
being able to understand onboard announcements was difficult - volume low - so we did not catch that we had to claim our luggage before connecting to DTW from BOS
I love Iceland Air not because it is the most modern. airline, but because of the high degree of professionalism and service. A smile goes a long way on trans atlantic flights - and other airlines don't come with that. The friendliness of the staff alone has made your airline my first choice over any American airline I might otherwise choose. Never lose your spirit! Sincerely - Jaded American Traveler
On a long overnight flight a snack is not even included. Was a bit surprised by that. Every overnight international flight I've been on offers free snack on flights more than 6 hours long.
Very good flight, kid friendly, will select again with my kids
My first experience with Icelandair was one I would like to repeat.
The wifi was down on my flight from Chicago to Iceland. Kinda sucked not to have internet for 6hrs..
Keep Iceland Iceland.
