The airport has a large parking garage with eight stories and economy lots that provide plenty of parking. Economy parking is only $10 per day, while the cost of long-term parking is $14 per day. A cheaper alternative is the express bus that runs from downtown to the airport and costs $6. Travelers can take a cab, though many drivers only accept cash.
Visitors arrive at the Tucson International Airport, located ten miles from downtown. Travelers can hop on a bus to downtown Tuscon, which takes around forty-five minutes and costs $2. A taxi is faster, taking about thirty minutes for the same distance but costing $25 per ride. Tuscon is known for its beautiful landscapes and year-round warm weather. Temperatures can exceed one hundred degrees Fahrenheit, particularly in June, July, and August. Low temperatures may reach forty degrees Fahrenheit. Visitors should pack for very warm weather but will need to bring a jacket and pants for cold evenings. Fans of the outdoors should like hiking at Sabino Canyon. Aviation enthusiasts will enjoy the Pima Air and Space Museum, known for having one of the largest aircraft collections in the world. The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is home to a natural history museum, botanical gardens, and a zoo.
