If you visit during the summer, wear clothing that is light and breathable. Early spring is a great time to visit DC if you want to see the famous Cherry Blossom Festival. When you’re in DC, don’t miss the Smithsonian, the world-famous collection of fifteen specialty museums. Afterward, you can take a walk through Rock Creek Park, which is filled with streams, waterfalls, and historical attractions.
