The airport offers two covered parking areas near the terminals, as well as an uncovered long-term lot. Shuttle service is offered to and from all parking facilities, and the two covered lots also offer covered walkways. If you plan on eating at the airport, you can choose from a plethora of options from Mexican food or sushi to classic American fare or Middle Eastern cuisine in the McNamara Terminal and the North Terminal.

Once your flight lands at Philadelphia International Airport, you will be 7.2 miles southwest of the city’s center. You can choose from hiring a taxi or taking public transportation via the SEPTA Airport Regional Rail Line to get to your hotel. Rental cars are also available from several agencies located in the airport. When you’re planning your trip to Philadelphia, consider visiting the Independence National Historic Park, the Please Touch Museum, or the Philadelphia Museum of Art to enjoy the many learning and cultural experiences the city has to offer. In order to stay comfortable while in the city, pack warm clothing for the cooler months, in which the daytime temperatures are usually around 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit and nighttime temperatures dip to as low as 20 degrees. Shorts and lightweight clothing are ideal for summer months, in which the daytime temperatures can reach almost 90 degrees and the nighttime temperatures are usually close to 70 degrees.
