The price, first and foremost. The room was surprisingly nice and the included breakfast as well. First hotel I looked at was double the price and wanted $30 for parking. Even if I was Bill Gates I wouldn’t be paying $30 a day to park at a hotel I am staying at. Get real! Hotel prices in general need to come back to the realm of the sane, and this $100 a night gem did not disappoint.

Magnificent old homes repurposed into an inn! Delicious breakfast spread! Friendly staff (but not very well-informed, even on the inn's history; i think the place may have changed hands after the pandemic and they're not up to speed yet))

Had a conference right at this hotel so staying here was perfect. Well worth the few extra dollars since I was able to valet and forget about parking. Parking in Ann Arbor is a major hassle if you didn't know. Hotel was lively and clean. Rooms were very quiet (didn't need earplugs). Staff very helpful & friendly. Location is on corner within State Street District which is very walkable and cool. Lots of places to eat and wonder around. Very nice stay.
