We had a great stay! No complaints! Beautiful hotel! Would stay again!!

Overall, the location is great and the hotel is very nice. The rooftop is the best in Venice. Hotel Erwin is the best hotel in Venice. The problem which is totally unacceptable is that the fire alarm went off the first morning at 6 am and again the 2nd night at 2 am and both were false alarms. They were ear piercing ways to wake up. Went on for at least 15-20 minutes. Needless to say, I will never be staying at Hotel Erwin again. I felt like I was back at my freshman dorm in college.

This is my favourite place to stay on the LA coast. The location is fantastic, the rooftop restaurant and bar are beautiful, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and efficient. A special mention goes to the incredibly kind and personable security guard, who adds to the warm atmosphere. A wonderful experience all around. Well done to the entire team!

Although I speak multiple languages, I am not perfectly fluent in every language. When I struggled to pronounce the word for reservation, the night manager laughed at me. This was humiliating, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. A guest should never be ridiculed for attempting to communicate, especially by someone in a management position. Approximately ten minutes later, he returned with my paperwork, and I was assigned a room. Because it was so late, we did not realize until later that we had been given a full-size bed instead of the king-size bed we had booked. The beds were also extremely hard and uncomfortable, making an already disappointing stay even worse. The following morning, we were served eggs containing eggshells, raising further concerns about the hotel’s food preparation and attention to qu
