I was really excited about staying here with my family. The photos of the water park area looked amazing, and the indoor pool seemed like a great option for the kids. The property was also advertised as having an arcade, and the rooms appeared spacious, which was a big plus for us.
When we arrived, the two-bedroom suite definitely delivered in terms of size. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the kitchen setup was convenient. The location was also great, and the price was very reasonable.
That said, there were several disappointing aspects of our stay. The bed was unfortunately the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. It was so uncomfortable that I seriously considered booking another hotel for the night. The bedding felt rough and stiff, and the mattress offered little to no support.
We also encountered ants in the room, including on the bed, in the bathroom, and near the kitchen. While the kitchen was functional, much of the furniture throughout the suite felt very outdated. In addition, the shower in the bathroom attached to the king bedroom was clogged, so water would pool around your feet while showering.
The indoor pool, which was one of the main reasons we booked this place, was out of service for a portion of our stay. That was a major letdown, especially with kids. As for the arcade, it was honestly a joke. There was hardly anything there for the kids to do, and it felt like an afterthought rather than an actual amenity.
This is not the worst place
