I have never stayed at a Monte Carlo property, and must say this far exceeded my expectations! The room was super clean, wide hallways, new carpeting, in-house restaurant, very nice dining room, free breakfast included, free and plentiful on site self-parking, free WiFi, Elevator you don't have to wait long for, ready access to the highway, friendly staff and a WalMart right across the road. Will be back!
I arrived on the morning of Dec 8 and the hotel staff that greeted me was nice but one older gentleman lacked a welcoming demeanour. He wasn't outright unfriendly but didnt smile, made no eye-contact and was dismissive of my early arrival for an overnight stay, as if to say "I dont have to deal with you now, you're too early..." I ultimately got an early check-in at 1pm and it was like he was unhappy to make that accommodation. He should probably be kept in the back office if he's not received proper front-desk training to handle guests services because he makes a lousy first impression. The remaining service staff was lovely and friendly. The room was clean and ready with lots of space to move around. Thanks for the great stay!
Its good place to stay. Clean and calm. You have no car??? You are in trouble. Its far away from everything.
They did not clean the room on our first night stay, so no clean towels to use and garbages are not removed. The front desk is friendly and helpful.
The price was in USD, eventhought it's a Canadian hotel. Not mentionned on the website
It was OK experience, nothing to extraordinary. Staff could’ve been more pleasant and friendlier.
I booked in Canadian dollars when I got there they changed me $60 more telling me that was the price I booked it for I booked 2 weeks prior to New Year’s Eve to secure hotel room for the new year and they overcharged me and the hotel room was damp and smelt like mold
The rooms are very small and are NOT adequate to be called suites. There are no wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Besides, the bath tubs do not have hand showers. So, it makes it really hard work for a disabled person. A fridge and a microwave are provided in the room. The breakfast is reasonable, with NO variation in food choices and for a long stay, this becomes boring. Include more choices of fresh fruit and some cheeses.
