We had a larger than usual room which was nice but we paid for it. It was more expensive. Overall our stay was nice since we stayed there 38 years ago on our first trip to Japan. Kind of a homecoming you might say. Check in easy as well as check out. The distance to the station is a little far so consider using an airport limo bus or taxi from the Ikebukuro station. Nice stay.

We’ve stayed here several times through the years. The location for shopping is great! The hotel rooms are decent. The one thing that remains consistent is the staff is NOT friendly at all. First I thought maybe it’s the language barrier but we stayed at the hotel metropolitan Ikebukuro last year and the staff was so welcoming and friendly even though there was a language barrier. Maybe improve your customer service.

One of our favourite stays, this hotel is so well located above Sunshine City. Great rooms and I was lucky and had a high floor with a view of Fuji.

room is spacious, clean. staff are very nice. there is shuttle to both airports so it’s a huge plus. downside is the location, seems not super close to transit, google map always asked us to walk more than 15 minutes in all the routes.

Great service, corner room was quite spacious for a family of 4. Convenient location, with Blackcat on the 2nd floor, and 7-11 and a cafeteria in the annex tower. 5 min walk to Shinagawa station.

Check in was truly the worst. I never saw such a long line of people waiting to check in to a hotel in my life. It was like waiting for a ride at Disneyland. It took more than 45 minutes. I was unsure whether to try the check in machine but it didn’t seem to be much faster. I know some might say well you can always arrive off peak hours but when you’re coming from somewhere else having to check out by 11am, you just need to check in to your next hotel as soon as possible. I honestly didn’t see anything about the hotel that justifies such demand. To me it was a very typical hotel, good location, and served by the airport limo bus. My first impression when I got there was I made a mistake booking here. They need to put their corporate heads together and seriously rethink their whole process and infrastructure. They need way more self service kiosk, maybe triple or quadruple the number, and they need to increase the check in staff by at least 50%. But of course that costs money and then this hotel just becomes more expensive, right? I thought the Japanese people were very efficient but this was a glaring exception.
