This was the perfect location and the cabin was adorable. Only complaints were the sheets smelled like they were not washed and the shower head was aiming up so you had to hold the shower head to rinse off.

The property is beautiful and peaceful, right near the river, and has an outdoor badminton / volleyball court, tether ball, ping pong table, and lending library of games and books. We loved our stay at Fern River Resort. Tucked beneath the trees, it felt peaceful and fully immersed in nature. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and warm, we lit the fireplace in the evening and unwound after a beautiful train ride through the redwoods. Sitting by the river at dusk was one of those simple, perfect moments you wish you could stretch out a little longer. The location is ideal, just down the road from Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, making it easy to explore while still feeling tucked away. A quiet, grounding place we’d absolutely return to.

The cottage was clean, cozy and absolutely perfect. I stayed in 11A and it was awesome. It had a cabin feel, and a great view of the trees and river. Loved the loft too! I'd stay here again. It was close to town but felt like it was far away in the woods. I loved the fireplace but if I could change one thing, I'd put a hot tub on the deck. A great getaway overall!
