This was a very stylish, fun boutique-type property. The aesthetic was very rooted in Santa Cruz’s natural beauty and quirky artistic vibe. I didn’t use the pool but it seemed popular with families and was very pretty and well maintained. Room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I wish I had known when I booked it is that they charge $28 a night to park. That additional charge is significant! After the first night i figured out i could park on the street right next to the hotel and ended up paying a couple bucks instead of $28 per night. But it was a lovely hotel and I would definitely recommend. Just park on the street. Easy to walk to downtown.

The decor was nice, and the rooms felt new and modern. I liked the wood floors and comfy beds. But the room was falling apart in some places, and there was black mold in the shower ceiling. The room was also very, very small.
