Love this property is on the beach. Full view of the ocean with no obstructions. Great pool and spa. Hate that check in is at 4 and check out is 11. You don’t even get 24 hours on the property. They were able to check us in a bit early. And when we asked for a late check out, they said no you have to be out by 11 and they were very rude about it.

Our room was very old and in need of repair and replacement, i.e. torn carpeting and spotted upholstered furniture. I did not care for the shower head. We enjoyed the beach view and the staff was very accommodating. The first room we were given had a very strong and unpleasant odor and we requested to be moved. The VIP room we were given was next to the restaurant and not worthy of a VIP room price that we paid. We ate at the Jack O'Neill Restaurant at the property and had a wonderful breakfast on Thursday and a horrible breakfast on Saturday, and we ordered the same meal both times.

We love Dream Inn. This was our 5th visit. We love the view and the excellent service. That being said, the bathrooms are in great need of renovating. This is a great location, but it only rates as a 3 star hotel.

Great location in the rejuvenated Santa Cruz Boardwalk area. Among the the best beaches and easy walk to West Cliffs. Hear the sea lions bark and fog horn honk at night. Hotel faces the ocean to the east for a unique West Coast sunrise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the dream Inn! The location is perfect for both beach and shopping access. It was great to be right on the beach and steps from the wharf. Our room was spacious and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was wonderful as was the hot tub. The hotel also has great dining options while at the pool or in the hotel. We would love to return and stay here again.
