Very good room. Clean; comfortable; kitchen with utinsels, microwave, etc. Good coffee maker. Friendly and helpful staff. Serious marketing effort. The bad: parking. Expensive and in a repurposed building, so that getting to the parking spot was via a major obstacle course through supporting girders, etc.

Rooms were clean, spacious and contemporary. Very nice and comfortable stay. The garage has a spiral drive going up and is very nerve wrecking to us but a fun experience for sure. Convenient to downtown and walking distance to everything downtown San Diego. The restaurant inside has delicious eats and starbucks style/flavored coffee in the morning.

The staff was great! The room was comfortable and clean. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I think they can be more upfront about the nightly parking fees and also the logistics of their parking lot.

Parking is very inconvenient. You have to check in with valet where I tell you how to park or you can pay for that. Once you find a parking stall, find a lobby is equally hard as it combined with another building and the signage is terrible. Day rate for parking is $36 unless you’re a hotel guest and then it’s 42 flat rate non-negotiable. Our bed was very comfortable and the room looked very nice. However, the soundproofing is nonexistent. We were next to the elevator and it sounded as though our room was directly below a skytrain running all night long. Staff was there, they were efficient although they were not friendly. Overall, my experience here leads me to never wanna book a Marriott vacation club again.
