The hotel had many great reviews which is what made me chose to stay here. I was very surprised at my experience. It was pricey for an off season stay and not worth the cost. Although they seem to care for the property and keep it clean it was very outdated. Breakfast was not impressive.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Not walkable to town shops and restaurants, but only a short drive away. Easy access off the Hwy. Had some trouble w TV reception that required assistance. Overall a pleasant and economical option for our stopover on the way further up the Maine coast.

It is very dated. It is a motel that has been refurbished with very cheap furniture and a terrible in wall AC/heat. I left after one night.

Arrived at the property. First room smelled strongly of smoke (smoke free rooms). Desk clerk took us to a new room and it was no better. Rooms looked nothing like the picture. Desk clerk said they would approve a refund penalty free and after 3 days of battling back and forth they did not hold their word.

Major issues with partying in a room overhead. Contacted the front desk who "talked to the folks" but regardless the partying and noise continued through the entire night. Didn't sleep at all. Left at first light. Awful. Contacted "Ascend Hotel Collection" they responded asking about the details. I shared with them and then no response going on 5 weeks now. I would seek out another location.

Nice small motel type property. We had a quick stay on the drive to Acadia National Park. 2 room suite with 3 beds in total, worked well for us! Nice beds.

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. The beds were very comfortable, shower was hot, etc. The staff was very nice as well, especially the sweet lady who tended to the breakfast area in the morning. She was very pleasant! Also maybe this is silly but my daughter loved that they had special “add your own” mini marshmallows for her hot chocolate. The only thing I did NOT like was my daughter’s white socks were very dirty (almost black) from walking around the room itself. The floor visibly looked clean, but her socks told a different story!

There was trash in front of the door to the room, the TV wasn't working, the phone to call the front desk wasn't working, and from the room you could hear noise from the street light. As a result, I ended up leaving and booking a room at a different hotel.

Great for just a night to stay for the hospital tomorrow. Definitely would recommend for a night if needed. Clean and spacious. As close as the main road is to the place you really don’t hear the traffic.

Portsmouth Stay

My stay was satisfactory. The pictures make the place look nicer than it was but it was still good. Rooms have been updated a bit, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The morning breakfast offered much more than I expected.
