The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying in this hotel. We had a few minor issues with the rooms but when doing a sweep of the floor and under the beds to ensure we didn’t leave toys behind, my husband found a broken crack pipe. We did inform the staff on duty at the time and she apologized and went to get it out of the room when we took our 3 year old to breakfast. As I said, the staff were great but clearly this isn’t the best place for a family to stay.
No leniency with cancelling due to Covid infections.
The Suite was nice and the indoor pool was OK. But they had no maid service and nothing in the kitchen to use and would not provide anything if we asked for it. they were rude and not accomoding.
Room was dusty and food was left under the bed. Staff didn't explain where anything was upon arrival.
Appears that a section of the hotel is being renovated ? Dumpsters and work vehicles observed, lawn areas and kksjbtkbgs not maintained, very dated hotel ......king sized bed with a full sized headboard in my room ....😳

Accessibility to room was terrible. The elevator took us up to our floor but then all of the rooms are all down long hallways that are not air conditioned. If you are in a room in the 80s you are ok....but if you are in the low numbers better have on your sneakers and be prepared to haul your gear for a long tour around the building via the hallways. It would have been nice if the front desk clerk suggested alternative entrance ways. I did mention we had never stayed at this property. The entire area looks pieced together like a motel 6 and low budget hotel married to a smaller scale convention center...perhaps that is where the "plus" reference comes in. The AC units are the old style under window and didn't regulate that well Ceilings were vaulted with 70's dark brown beams against a white painted ceiling. The commercial carpet felt perpetually damp. Overall served it's purpose but for the price we could have spent another 50 dollars and had a huge upgrade in ammenities and location
Clean and comfortable room. Nice pool. Adequate parking. Convenient to downtown Portsmouth - 5 minute drive down Dennet Street avoids traffic. Friendly and helpful staff.

We arrived an hour before check in and were told we'd need to wait. After 1/2 an hour, they just switched us to a room that was done - nice, but not sure why we had to wait. The bathrooms on the main floor were dirty. Our room was clean and comfortable. The first day the hot water in the shower didn't work and the next morning it worked but it made a loud squealing noise.
Clean facilities with competitive rates and good location
We checked into our room and someone's purse and bag was sitting on the table. The front desk told us no one was in the room. But wouldn't housekeeping notice? Very odd. They moved us quickly to another room no big deal but I'd still like to know what happened.
