It’s walkable. Parking Valencia quite pricey at $60/night. Staff are kind and friendly. They have happy hour in the afternoon for beer tasting.

Hotel Lucia had a great design and vibe. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The arcade down stairs was a nice touch but very small with only 3 games. The room overall was nice. The pillows were fluffy and stayed that way! They had the bed made in a very weird way. They had a flat sheet on the mattress instead of a fitted sheet. And there was not a top sheet to use. The bathroom wasn't very updated compared to the luxury vibe of the room. The views out the room we stayed in were non existent. You basically had a view of other buildings windows. There were a handful of homeless folks outside the hotel. This hotel is very close to the food truck eatery.

Mere words cannot express the absolute travesty that occurred after we checked out at the garage directly across the street. We simply could not get out and help came through the call box, most likely NOT nearby, although the guy in the box said “he” was Coming down. Where from? The hereafter? Such a buzzkill on an otherwise lovely stay.

I liked that there was a parking structure was across the street which had pretty good pricing for our overnight stays. The hotel itself felt very safe being that you needed a room key in order to use the escalator to reach the rooms up top. We enjoyed the overall atmosphere as it felt very upscale and unique. All in all, would stay here again ! Thank you for having us Hotel Lucia !
