I enjoyed my stay very much. Staff was exceptional and helpful in every way. I wld suggest food being served around pool area, hot dogs, hamburger, or sandwich of sum kind. Soak up the alcohol consumption thru the day.

First my girlfriend was sick. Violently throwing up.. body aches and be ridden for 36 hours. definitely symptoms of norovirus . Then come to find out many more people were also complaining about getting sick. My last day here I then caught it.. sick as a dog. If you come bring hand sanitizer and don’t shake peoples hands

Don’t be fooled by the google reviews… they’re mostly reviewers with one review! They all mention the entertainment crew by name, yet I only “met” one member during my stay. Things are not “right” at this resort. Several people including ourselves were stricken with food poisoning. They did the bare minimum in seagrass removal. There was one dude walking around selling drugs that was familiar with the staff. We also had a 1am wake up call from a woman screaming bloody murder repeatedly, but no cops or ambulance or anything came. Just security…. scary!

I love this resort as it is small and easy to get around from beach, pool, room, lobby and restaurants within 5 minutes. The staff is amazing!! Miguel is by far the best bartender whether he is in the pool bar or lobby bar. The entertainment staff made our stay even more fun. Kenddell, Adela, Arturito and Alexander always made a point to talk to our group every day. Kenddell even remembered all our names (group of 10) after meeting us the first time. By the end of our stay he had made all 6 girls personalized bracelets and a small note to thank us for making his job fun. He doesn't realize that he made our vacation so much more fun by making us feel welcome. Down side note was that they changed the lunch restaurant (El Charro) to a sit down meal. It used to be more of a buffet style with grab n go. Now you have to wait to be seated and waited on. Sometimes I just wanted to grab a plate of chips and guacamole or a plate of french fries without having to be waited on. I wish there was a spot for snacks like this near the beach or pool. This was my third time to visit here in 10 years and I would go back again!

Pros: excellent entertainment staff (especially Kendall), cute night shows, tasty food (better than most all inclusives), affordable, great excursion staff by pool, accessible (multiple people with walkers, wheelchairs were able to get around ok) Cons: horrible alcohol (worst quality than any all inclusive I've ever stayed, caused instant headaches, spent most of my week with virgin drinks), staff at restaurant by pool was bad 3 days I went there (although food was good), awkward beach setup (have to walk around boardwalk to enter water), noisy (construction on beach multiple days, super loud music past 11pm every night), crappy spa (although staff was very friendly, very old music played by DJ most nights (definitely catered to old, American crowd)
