Holiday Inn Express is a nice, comfortable hotel to the west of Downtown Phoenix and adjacent to government office buildings. However, it is somewhat isolated from Downtown Phoenix attractions so be careful walking at night time.

I only stay for one night with my family, and we loved the room with enough space, clean all around, we spent quality time in the pool and hot top, breakfast included is a plus and they offer different options, friendly staff, we definitely will be back, thank you

The hotel itself is fine. It's clean, the staff were very nice, and the breakfast was good. It is close to downtown and the airport, which is why we chose it, but it is not in the greatest area. For this reason, my husband said that we better take everything out of the car. The hotel staff said that they have a security guard patrolling the parking lot, so maybe it's fine, but we thought the area was sketchy.
