I liked that the management acted quickly to call the police when occupant in next room became violent in the middle of the night. It would have been good to know rooms were let to people known to be at risk of episodes.

only thing we liked about the property was the view from the back of the room overlooking the Rideau river and the room and linens were very clean We unfortunately stayed there when there was 2 weddings going on , the events were fine , just when the people above our room went to bed they were stomping around for 2 hours, so we didn't get much sleep Also getting in and out of the property was sometimes difficult as the road out front is extremely busy

The room was immaculate and HUGE. The view was amazing. It was quiet and so peaceful. We have everything we needed. The Continental Breakfast...not so good. we came down and did not stay.That could use improvements.

The Ramada on the Rideau is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is conveniently near to major sites in Ottawa. The proximity to the Rideau and the canoe and kayak rentals was a major plus. We stayed there to attend a family funeral and the staff was very considerate and kind. Special thanks to Kiran and Mary Ann for their kindness during our difficult time.
