Somehow I reserved for the wrong date and did not catch it. This caused the motel to reserve a room unnecessarily. Though the motel was within their right to charge me for the unused reservation, they did not, thanks to the friendly young gentleman at the office. I was not looking for amenities, just a clean, functional room at a good price close to Ottawa (by car). This fit the bill and I would be happy to stay there again.
