We had multiple email communications with the manager to improve our check in. We were missing our QR codes and then we were never updated if we could check in early. The house was supposed to be a 5 min drive from Disney when it is actually 20-30mins from Disney. The fan in the living room is filthy and the windows need washed. The house is provided with the bare minimum as far as shower gel, lotion, and paper products. Be prepared to bring your own. Finally, on our last day, they locked us out of the house and didn’t tell us. In late March, they noticed a clerical error in early January and locked us out. My children have severe medical issues and we were unable to get in the house for the medication. This was terrifying and extremely stressful. Luckily I found a random phone number to call the host and spent 30 mins resolving the issue. The family is not local and limited English. Overall, this ruined our experience. The fear of watching my children not having their medication and watching them suffer was hurtful. We will not be returning ever.

Neglected with potential

This house has lots of room with fun themed rooms. We enjoyed having a personal pool and the resort pools. We ran into a few issues that tainted our stay. 1. Mold and grease all over the dishwasher. We could not use it for our 9 night stay. They sent someone to clean it with bleach, but the whole thing needed to be replaced per the technician they finally sent over on the 2nd day. 2. Mold in bathroom grout and in bathrooms. 3. Owners having a delinquent account with the resort, so we had disappointed kids waiting for correspondence to get it all sorted in order to go play in the included amenities. 4. The pool cleaning company coming and leaving the pool fence open in the back corner that isn't visible from the main living space. We kept the fence closed unless we were swimming but we found it open after the pool cleaner left AFTER our 1yo was out on the back patio. Thankfully he didn't go in and drown.So while the place seems surface clean, it needs a deep clean and mold treatment. It also needs a bit of attention to detail to make staying here more peaceful and enjoyable.

Property details

The property was as described. Could not get jacuzzi jets to work or pool lights - those inside pool (grandkids) liked it. Beds were comfortable. TVs very confusing. Pool area small. Did not know how to get fence open. No directions. Check in process was terrible. Very very long lines. Took 50 mins to get through first time. Cars speeding all through the property. Really could not walk to larger resort area. Those pictures make it look nicer than it really is. Would not rent again. Summary. House was fine. Location and resort not so much.

Fun Disney house

The house was great for our two families. Lots of room for everyone and never felt crowded. The kids loved the bunk room! It was about a 20 min drive to the parks. The wood floors upstairs made it so we could hear all the footsteps above us from our bedroom downstairs but we were getting up early everyday so not a huge deal. The only issues we had were the air hockey table didn’t work and the hot tub/spa never heated enough to use. The communication regarding the hot tub was not timely. Overall it’s a fun house, the neighborhood has a nice pool and lazy river that we enjoyed.

Great House Not Great Area

We loved the overall theming of the home and the amenities. Great space and pool felt larger than pictured. It was more than spacious for a family of 5. We were not impressed with the Storey Lake Resort area. To get to the home there is a gated entrance. Upon arriving, cars were backed up so far it took an hour to get through the gate once we arrived in the neighborhood. While this process was lengthier on the Saturday of arrival, there was a wait each time we came back to the house. There was only one person working in the check-in booth and it was a very slow manual process even after we received a piece of paper to scan for entry. This is no fault of the house owner but should be addressed as it was very frustrating. We appreciated the security but the process can definitely be improved. Also, times to parks provided in the listing were not accurate. All of the Disney parks and Disney Springs drive times were longer than listing even without the addition of traffic.
