The promised ‘free shuttle’ didn’t come. I waited more than 45 mins. I called the hotel three times and was reassured that it was on the way. Meanwhile, the van for the neighboring hotel came and went 4 times! I ended up paying for a ride service to take me the 1 mile to the hotel. Then there was no compensation or apology at the hotel. The elevator smelled of marijuana and the staff seemed annoyed by the presence of guests. By far the worst Hampton Inn experience I have had.

The area was not in a good location…as was mentioned in Google… felt a bit unsafe. Parking was inconvenience as we were kinda force to pay valet.. plus.. Limited dining area and menu. Breakfast was ok, but can be better.. good to stay for 1-2 nights only.. prolong, stay, not recommended.. Previously, stayed in Hampton Inn in other states and they were much better.. very satisfied… perhaps, NYC-JFK locations needs a bit of improvement, overall..

This is an airport hotel, and it is sufficient for an overnight stay to catch an early flight, but not much more. The rooms are old, the shower had rust, the door was hard to close. But the bed was clean and comfortable, and the noise was minimal. The ‘restaurant’ is a bar with some very basic offerings, and there’s nothing else nearby. But Juliet, the bartender/waitress was phenomenal, efficient and friendly. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful, with smiles on their faces!

Overall a decent stay. Only issue is that you have to reserve a provided shuttle in advance or else you will not get a time. Other Hampton Inn’s have a couple of shuttles running that are 24/7. A little surprised since the location of the hotel is very close to JFK Airport.
